Fab location close to theatres, British museum, Covent Garden, Holborn tube 5 min walk Tottenham Court Road tube less than 10 mins.
Good breakfast and helpful staff.
Room was clean and had a nice ensuite. Air conditioned.
Stayed a few times, always been happy with stay.
Decor is a bit dated. Some of the lights in the room couldn't be turned on individually, one switch turned them all on., but nothing really too negative to say.

Les fenêtres vétustes qui s'ouvraient très mal, la chambre au fond du couloir et la vue sur la cour intérieure avec les énormes systèmes d'aération. Le prix de la chambre qui a évolué trois fois sans explication sur mon séjour de quatre jours.

Location is great. 5min walk to Holborn tube station for the Piccadilly and Central line and Less than 10 mins to Tottenham Court Road for the Northern, Central and Elisabeth lines. Easy walking distance to heart of theatre land and British museum just round the corner.
Breakfast is decent, good range of food on offer.

Rooms are clean if a little dated, but have good air conditioning. Beds as are comfy enough.Ensuite is good with a nice rain shower above the bath.
Third time staying at the Thistle Holborn, always been happy with our stay.

Very well situated hotel for access to Covent Garden and Central London. Our room was good for two people but as a family room where the sofa bed was to be used - impossible.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, though they didn't always carry out requests.
The air conditioning was very effective, which we appreciated.
The sofa bed was old, broken, and uncomfortable, and should not have been offered as a third bed. On the first night, we asked for an extra mattress, but this was not accommodated. On asking a second time, a thin topper was added only mildly improving the situation.
Breakfast was nothing special and given the vicinity to Covent Garden, not worth booking.

The location is amazing! Right around the corner is oxford street, minutes walk from holborn underground statiom that connects you to other parts of the city.
Clean room, very quiet allthough in central location
I will recommend others and will come back again.
There was only one problem with the beds arrangement- when we booked the room, it was specifically written that the room will have one big double bed and one single bed. When we arrived there was a folding sofa bed. Normally we wouldn't say anything but it was really uncomfortable- all 3 of us spent the night sleeping in the double bed. In the next morning we went down to reception and told them about it, they apoligized and said they'll take care of it. When we returned to our room later that day we found out nothig was changed, so there was another night with all of us in one bed.
The next morning we went down again- they said they will make sure it'll get fixed and indeed they changed the sofa bed into a single one, but all of us had to sleep in one bed for 2 out of the 4 nights booked.

Main bed was very comfortable, good size room, front desk staff helpful and accommodating, hotel clean and well kept.
Sofa bed was not very comfortable for an adult guest as the mattress was very thin. Was ok for one night.
