Ambience
Value for the money
Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff were friendly
Bed had torn bedsheets. The window had only one sheer covering half of it. The curtains couldn't open and close smoothly. I asked for help but got no response. The shower leaked into the floor outside the bath cubicle. We had to leave without breakfast on the last day to not miss our flight because it was taking to long. I asked the staff at the restaurant a few times but go no response but was eventually asked to cancel the breakfast by the staff. No hand towels in the rooms. We had booked for two but there was only one cup.
Very efficient
Spacious Clean Rooms, Great Food and Very Courteous Staff. It's just a pleasant place to stay. The ambience is comforting.
Overall, very good service, and a friendly reception staff. Only check the functioning of the aircon as at sometimes automatically changes temperature from low to higher degrees, while not set as an auto control.
Not a lot!
They wanted to charge me extra for my child but I had booked as 2 adults & 1 child aged 7 years. Had to have an argument in the front desk to avoid extra charges, the woman just had a blank ‘don’t give a f*** attitude. tried to cancel our second night a couple of weeks beforehand and they would not allow it. The cafe was strange for informal food/ dining. No prices on menus, you had to ask per item and the chiller food display smelt very very bad. Dingy outdated room, hard mattress, useless hairdryer. Very expensive for a very poor stay. We should have gone back to the lovely Cresta Lodge.
The facility and staff were fabulous.
I’ve stayed in countless hotels across different countries both 5-star and 3-star and I can honestly say I’ve never encountered towels as poor as the ones in both rooms. They were visibly dirty and very old, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel like Rainbow Towers.
Everything else about the stay was fine, but the condition of the bathroom towels was a major letdown and frankly left a bad impression.
