Great service and view
Pros:

This was our first time at this hotel. I booked it with the visa luxury collection. The service was above and beyond. We got welcome gifts and they were super accommodating. The view was incredible and its close walking distance to the beach, pier and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing time
Pros:

Come with an expectation that it's an older hotel...

Yes there some remodeling that needs to be done but honestly the service, food, and LOCATION outshined here. They attempt to modernize the rooms which I give them credit for because it's not that bad but bathrooms are expected to be outdated since this hotel is old as their humongous fig tree. It still was not terrible! Everything was working well still in our room and bathroom. Rooms were clean! Great value for Amex members.

We love the service here. Everyone was so professional and kind. Those valet guys were the best we ever had!! And we stay in numerous hotels in country and internationally! They honestly were so kind in taking our scooters in and out of storage whenever we needed them. Daniel was great and so were the others! Those guys need more credit running around in their suits in this heat while maintaining their smiles and professionalism, and managing the constant chaos in this roundabout!

Food was amazing at the FIG. Better than I expected it to be!

Location is clutch here. This is close to all the shopping, restaurants, park, and most importantly the beach! You can rent e-bikes and bikes here.

We love how this hotel is dog friendly as well! Mr. Chuck had a splendid time. We definitely will be back!!

Exceptional Stay Thanks to Jordan and the Team
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Miramar. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming.

A special thank you to Jordan, our concierge, who truly made our trip. He went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Jordan helped us book a Waymo so we could experience a driverless taxi for the first time, and he also arranged our car rental so we could enjoy a day trip to Santa Barbara, the Getty Villa, and Zuma Beach. His recommendations and local knowledge made our holiday even more memorable.

Thank you to Jordan and the entire Fairmont Miramar team for making our stay so special. We look forward to coming back!

Excellent 1 night stay for my girlfriend and I
Pros:

I stayed at the Fairmont for a birthday get away and had such a wonderful experience with the valet staff! Most notably, Alan, Matthew and Garry who were all so accommodating and friendly. We truly just appreciated the entire staff and are also very grateful for the manager Andres who made the entire stay a pleasure! If you’re looking for great service definitely stay here.

Fabulous 20th Anniversary Stay!
Pros:

The staff was outstanding and sent us goodies to celebrate our 20th anniversary. They even thought to send milk and cookies for our kids. Location and amenities were outstanding. Food was tasty at The Fig and service was good. Loved the lounge, Fig and pool area. Cafe was a nice option for on-the-go, light breakfast. Wished we had time for the Japanese restaurant. It was exciting the they were filming a movie there and It wasn't intrusive at all. I went to the pool twice late afternoon and it was easy to find a seat/towels at the pool and the hot tub was full but not overcrowded. Didn't have time for the spa. The room was quiet. We liked that the outdoor lobby was very inviting. All in all, I'd give it a 9.5 and rounded up to 10

Cons:

Parking was too expensive but the attendants were good. The only downside was that the room smelled musty. It was especially noticeable when you first walk into the room. I don't think the windows opened on the 2nd floor either. We were mostly in the rooms to sleep and then out during the day. I heard in two years they will demolish/renovate the building (keeping the massive tree) The pool was out of towels when my husband went down early evening and he said he didn't see an attendant. I was slightly worried about security for the side door. While convenient, we came back in the evening and it still wasn't locked. Maybe they make it key card entry at a certain time later
