Pros:

Almost everything, really lovely

Cons:

The late night room service menu was very restricted, and the main issue was the pillows were all so fat, they were impossible to sleep on. But everything else was great!

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Facilities were clean and tidy. Foyer had a lovely smell and generally a lovely environment.

Cons:

The walls seem thin. We could hear the people in the room next to us quite easily and the closing of doors in other rooms was loud.

Great hotel
Pros:

Lovely staff. Nice clean room. Fairly central to where we needed to be. Bed was large, just a little too soft.

Cons:

Could have had more rails in the bathroom. The bathroom was large enough to have another 3 rails. But that's all we found 'wrong'.

Late arrival, warm human welcome in the Club lounge, spacious Club Suite that felt almost perfect—renovations already ha
Pros:

We arrived late, tired, and expecting the usual “check-in and goodnight” routine. What we got instead was a warm, human welcome—especially in the Club lounge, where the staff went over and above to make us settle in comfortably. Service was professional without feeling automated; conversations flowed easily, and it never felt like we were interrupting anyone’s workflow.
We stayed in a Club Suite, which was spacious with a separate lounge/dining area that could be closed off from the bedroom with sliding doors—a layout that made the stay feel more like home. The bathroom was generous, and the extra toiletries were a thoughtful touch.
The food was genuinely delicious (not just “good for a hotel”), and having Pommery as the house champagne felt like a small luxury that matched the mood. Across the hotel, the vibe was consistently welcoming and professional.

A special mention to Maarja-Liis at reception: friendly, professional, and the kind of person who makes the “back to reality” moment feel a little less heavy. We’ll be back.

Cons:

If I’m being honest, the only thing keeping this from feeling truly exceptional is that the rooms could use a light refresh. The building is starting to show its age, and small details—like windows that don’t get cleaned regularly—really stand out when everything else is so polished. A little uplift in the room finishes would bring the experience fully in line with the excellent service.

A good place to freshen up after a long flight before venturing out into Perth and beyond.
Pros:

Well appointed room with super comfy bed and robes. Central location, a short walk to the lovely Foreshore and Margaret Quay. The Nespresso machine in the room for a quick refresh. Helpful reception and concierge.

Cons:

The ongoing renovations to the pool. Hope they get it sorted by Spring.
