Zimmer 2229 benötigt eine Komplettsanierung!!!

Das Personal an der Rezeption, Bar, Restaurant, Club-Lounge, Concierge waren top. Sehr freundlich, kompetent, hilfsbereit, schnell und sympathisch. Da ist man bestens aufgehoben! Vielen Dank!

Cons:

Die Zimmer - wir haben zwei gebucht - Zimmer 2228 (für meine Eltern) und 2229 (für meine Tochter, meinen Mann und mich) waren sehr verdreckt und veraltet. Beide Nichtraucherzimmer laut Personal und Schild an der Tür. Leider hat in unserem Zimmer 2229 extrem nach Zigaretten gemischt mit Raumduft = bomben Kombination - gestunken!!! Der Gestank ist überall rein durchgesickert. Man hatte das Gefühl das Zimmer war über längere Zeit ein Raucherzimmer und jetzt plötzlich ohne Renovierung und neue Möbel ins Nicht-Raucher-Zimmer umgewandelt. Auf dem Teppich im Bereich Schreibtisch sind Brandflecken von Zigaretten.... An die Wände im Zimmer 2229 waren (ich hoffe) Rotzflecken - links und rechts vom Bett. Verstaubte Gläser im Schrank... Die Einnestung des Fernsehers auch verdreckt. Kaputte Außenwand Schrank - Minikühlschrank. Die Bettwäsche waren kratzig und unangenehm auf die Haut. Die Handtücher sehr weit vom weiß entfernt... Es war furchtbar und das zu einem stolzen PREIS! Das Zimmer noch mit einem kleinen Kind (3 Jahre alt) zu belegen ist eine Herausforderung!...NIE WIEDER!!! Ich füge Bilder hinzu!

Pros:

Insgesamt gutes Hotel; Parkgarage direkt vorhanden; Erreichbarkeit ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Kopfkissen könnten besser auf die Matratze abgestimmt sein. Frühstücksbuffet ist qualitativ durchschnittlich; Im Barbereich wurden sehr schöne Tische geschlossen

Pleasant Stay with Excellent Service
Pros:

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at The Westin Grand Munich. The friendly and attentive reception staff and the very good breakfast were particularly positive.

Our Urban Garden room with balcony was clean, with a very comfortable bed. However, some of the furnishings feel a little dated. A Nespresso machine would be a welcome addition for a hotel of this category, and the balcony could be made more inviting.

The spa and some areas of the hotel also show their age, but everything is generally well maintained. Overall, a good stay with excellent service and a few areas that could benefit from modernization. We would like to come back at this hotel😀
