Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

Brak prawdziwego okna w pokoju - okno wychodzi na dziedziniec wewnętrzny - bardzo blisko drugiego budynku, który chyba jeszcze jest w remoncie - puste korytarze z cały czas włączonym światłem. Budynek bardzo blisko, więc trzeba było mieć spuszczone rolety cały czas. W związku z tym brak okna i światła dziennego - za taką cenę pokoju i standard hotelu jest to dla mnie niedopuszczalne. Do tego dość ciemno w pokoju - dziwnie rozplanowane oświetlenie.
Oprócz tego bardzo głośne i chaotyczne lobby - ale to zrozumiałe w tak dużym hotelu o takiej lokalizacji.

Kein Portier hat beim Gepäck geholfen. Kein Welcome-Drink. In der Nasszone war ein extremer Kanalisations-Gestank. Trotz Reinigung/Spülung konnte keine Behebung herbeigeführt werden, so dass wir das Zimmer wechseln mussten. Irrtümlich verschlossener Zimmer-Safe konnte niemand am Abend öffnen und wir mussten bis am anderen Vormittag auf die Öffnung warten. Kein Pool. Insgesamt ist unser Fazit, dass es sich hier um ein 4-Sterne-Haus handelt!

Vi saknade basala faciliteter så som skohorn och toalettborste. Frukosten hade en sämre layout och det blev trångt med mycket spring runt vårt bord.

The check in experience was very bad, at which the staff told me to book online to get a cheaper rate, then when i did and they charged my card at the reception, they charged higher. After a long fight, i canceled my reservation and booked directly with them and the supervisor tried to sort out things, but only after frustrating me enough. Then at checkout when they activated the payment, they also charged me more than the price they gave me!! And if i didnt receive instantly a notification from my bank on the extra deduction, i would have never known that again they attempted to charge more. Then after another long frustrating conversation, they refunded the extra charge, but i still haven’t received it to clear them off

Die Frühstückräumlichkeiten sind eher ungemütlich……

We stayed for 3 nights, and unfortunately, there were several negative aspects to our stay.
On our first night, we were told there was an event in the lobby. Loud music played until 1 AM, and it could clearly be heard from our room. A hotel shouldn't host events that go on this late, as guests ultimately come there to sleep.
Additionally, we wanted to purchase breakfast for just 2 days instead of our full 3-day stay. However, they informed us that if you don't buy it for the entire duration of your stay, they apply a different, much higher daily rate. The pricing was unreasonably high just because we wanted to select specific days.
When we checked in, the room was cold (it was 10°C outside). We wanted to heat the room, but the AC wouldn't go above 24°C. The room was stuck at 21°C, and the AC struggled to reach 24°C without properly switching to a warm heating mode.
Finally, there was an inconsistency with the complimentary water. On our first day, we were given 3 free bottles of water. On the second day, this dropped to 2 bottles, and on our last day, only 1 bottle was left. I expected the water to be fully replenished to the original amount of 3 every day.

Stökig frukost

We stayed for a long weekend in September for a special family occasion (2 adults and our 15-month-old). We chose this hotel for its location, luxury reputation and global brand. Crucially, we contacted the hotel 3–5 months in advance to confirm dairy-free breakfast options for our child’s allergies and to advise that we do not drink alcohol. Despite receiving confirmation, these arrangements were not honoured.

Arrival and service: The accessible entrance failed to respond despite multiple attempts, leaving us struggling with a pram, toddler and three suitcases after a long immigration queue. When we raised the issue, it was dismissed. We also found an alcohol bottle in our room, despite having explicitly requested otherwise for religious reasons. The night receptionist was dismissive when we explained this.

Room comfort: The bed was spacious, but the pillows offered virtually no support and were extremely uncomfortable, disappointing given our previous experiences at Sheraton hotels worldwide.

Breakfast: The worst breakfast experience we have had during our travels. Despite advance assurances, there were virtually no dairy-free options for our child. Food regularly ran out with hours of service remaining, plates were scarce, fruit quality was poor, and the omelette was burnt. We struggled to find seating, had to source our own high chair and waited an hour for tea that never arrived. Staff needed repeated prompting to replenish food.

Overall experience: The manager was the only staff member who listened, apologised and arranged soft drinks to replace the alcohol, but the dietary issue remained unresolved.

Overall, this hotel fell far short of the standards expected of a luxury international brand. Given the high price, poor service, inadequate breakfast and failure to honour agreements made months in advance, it was extremely disappointing and poor value for money. I would struggle to recommend it.
