If you like a central location with lots of eateries and shops, this hotel would be a great choice.
Tuvimos una estancia perfecta en Praktik Essens. El hotel está ubicado en un callejón superiluminado y con un toque romántico encantador, además de estar cerca de absolutamente todos los servicios.
La habitación nos encantó: acogedora, moderna, impecablemente limpia y con aire acondicionado central que funcionaba de maravilla. Pero sin duda, lo mejor fue la ducha: supergrande, con un diseño moderno y un plato de ducha de piedra de alta calidad que se siente firme y premium (nada que ver con los de plástico de otros hoteles que se hunden al pisar).
El servicio digital es de diez. Desde el momento en que haces la reserva te dan acceso a múltiples gestiones online, facilitando muchísimo procesos como el check-in previo.
Por último, queremos resaltar especialmente la amabilidad del equipo:
El chico de recepción que nos recibió a la llegada, que además nos dio unas recomendaciones buenísimas para cenar.
La camarera de pisos, superatenta y profesional.

It was just a short walk (about 400m) from the Aerobus stop at Plaça de Catalunya, which we took directly from the airport so it was very convenient.
Moving around was easy - walkable to many places of interest and Metro/train access was easy.
There is a lounge for water and coffee/tea all day. Mini muffins and doughnuts in the morning and free drinks and snacks from 7-8pm. This was very unexpected but much appreciated!
Almost nothing except a very small issue - we didn’t feel there was much ventilation in the toilet.

Location was fabulous — next door to El Nactional and only one block from Plaça Catalunya and the Apple Store.
Initially hard to find, even though we knew the address.
אוירה קלילה, מיקום מעולה, נעים, נקי. שירות זמין ויעיל. סידור של החדר בכל יום, החלפת מגבות על יום, מים קרים חופשי, קפה בבוקר חופשי, happy hour כל יום בערב, מפנק. עיצוב מודרני ונעים.
במקלחת המים תמיד יצאו מהמקלחון החוצה, היה מטרד. ביום הראשון שהגענו השירותים לא היו נקיים והפח היה מלא באשפה.

Exceptionally comfortable room, wonderful outdoor terrace to enjoy coffee and happy hour. The happy hour was a great way to meet other guests and share stories. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that opportunity. The central location made accessing the top spots very easy.
Location is great, that’s about all this hotel has going on for itself
First, the front desk lady (with the diamonds/stones in her teeth) was very rude. For a fromt desk person, she never volunteered a hello. Many times, we said hello and never heard it back. Young front desk guy from evening shifts was nice. Also, please do yourself a favor a replace all carpet throughout the hotel and get some decent tvs that allow streaming.
