Bitte nicht buchen als Familie!!!!
Pros:

Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, clean und skandinavisch, dabei trotzdem gemütlich – optisch wirklich schön gemacht. Der Spa-Bereich selbst sieht sehr gut aus. Das Restaurant am Abend war gut, wenn auch für das Gebotene recht teuer. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Besonders schön ist der Aussichtspunkt oben im Hotel, von dort hat man einen tollen Blick.

Cons:

Wir haben das Hotel als Spa-Hotel für zwei Tage Auszeit gebucht – und genau das war nicht möglich.

Der Spa-Zutritt ist beim Zimmerpreis von rund 300 € pro Nacht nicht enthalten, sondern kostet 50 € extra. Der Hinweis darauf steht in der Booking.com-Beschreibung ganz unten in der letzten Zeile. Wer ein Haus als Spa-Hotel positioniert und dabei diesen Zimmerpreis aufruft, sollte den Spa entweder inkludieren oder die Zusatzkosten klar und prominent kommunizieren. So fühlt man sich schlicht in die Irre geführt.

Noch gravierender: Kinder dürfen den Spa ausschließlich von 7 bis 10 Uhr nutzen – also exakt während der Frühstückszeit. Für Familien ist ein Wellness-Aufenthalt damit praktisch ausgeschlossen. Angeboten wurde uns dann eine Stunde morgens mit unserer Tochter, die sonst 50 € gekostet hätte. Das ist keine Lösung.

Das Personal war dabei alles andere als entgegenkommend. Auf unsere Nachfrage kam sinngemäß die Aussage, man müsse den Spa eben dazubuchen – und wenn es uns nicht gefalle, könnten wir auch abreisen. Bei einem zweitägigen Aufenthalt ist das keine akzeptable Reaktion.

Dazu kommen die Zusatzkosten an jeder Ecke: 65 € pro Nacht für ein Kinderbett. Unsere Tochter hat dann bei uns im Bett geschlafen.

Die Sauberkeit entsprach nicht dem Preisniveau. Im Badezimmer lag ein lackierter Fingernagel (fotografiert), das Bettlaken war verschmutzt, und auch sonst war das Zimmer stellenweise nicht gründlich gereinigt.

Beim Frühstück werden die Tische nicht eingedeckt, das übernimmt man selbst – bei diesem Preis schwer nachvollziehbar.

Unterm Strich: Das Haus wirkt wie ein Adults-only-Hotel, will aber keines sein. Wenn solche Regeln gelten, sollte man das offen so kommunizieren. Statt zwei Tagen Erholung hatten wir zwei Tage Stress. Für Familien mit Kindern können wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Een hotel waar werkelijk alles klopt
Pros:

Wat een fantastisch hotel. Eigenlijk kunnen we er niets op aanmerken. Onze kamer was prachtig, ruim en comfortabel, met een werkelijk indrukwekkend uitzicht. Alleen daarvoor zou je al willen blijven.
De spa is absoluut heerlijk en maakt het verblijf helemaal af. Maar de grootste verrassing was misschien nog het ontbijt. We hebben al in heel wat hotels verbleven, maar zelden zo'n uitgebreid en compleet ontbijtbuffet gezien. De keuze is enorm, de kwaliteit uitstekend en werkelijk aan alles is gedacht.
Van de kamer en het uitzicht tot de spa en het ontbijt: alles voelde verzorgd en van hoog niveau. Een hotel waar we zonder twijfel opnieuw zouden verblijven.

Cons:

Als we dan écht iets moeten noemen: één van de plafondventilatoren in onze kamer maakte een wat vreemd geluid. Ik had het zelf eerlijk gezegd niet eens opgemerkt — mijn man wel. Dat zegt waarschijnlijk genoeg over hoe weinig er verder aan te merken viel. 😉

The Alsik Hotel is a must
Pros:

I had a amazing view over the Als Sounds. The room was comfortable and accommodating. Huge bathroom and bed was fantastic. The breakfast was truly unbelievable.
I loved it that you could walk along the water front. It was beautiful admiring the ships.
