Fantastic, Clean, Friendly Joint
Pros:

I give five stars and I’ve never done that in my life. I’m not giving it five stars because it’s Mandarin Oriental level, but because it’s amazing for the price and amenities offered. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered to print out any materials I needed in color or black and white if I didn’t want to bother with the printer and computer that was sitting 20 feet away. When we extended our stay, the front desk matched the lowest offer available without me asking. The bar made great drinks; the late night menu had children’s options of big chicken strips. The small grocery area offered milk. Imagine milk for sale at a hotel with large family clientele!

The brunch menu had kid’s options of waffles, French toast, and pancakes, which delighted my children and were really quite good. The pool and hot tub were immaculate and the hot tub was hot. Both were at lobby level. Pool towels were substantial.

The cleaning staff offered to change sheets daily.

I offered to move my kids to a hotel closer to Hershey Park with waterslides inside the hotel, but I showed them that the reviews were much worse. They declined and said they really liked this hotel.

The hotel caters to the work crews building soundstages at the famed Rock Lilitz. So the vibe is a mix of families and highly-skilled technicians with a cool Rock edge.

The coffee was good, but not Brooklyn barista level. I recommended that they try stocking Cometeer frozen capsules.

Fun and Comfortable Find
Pros:

It is very comfortable, clean, and modern without going over the top. The vibe felt welcoming -- everything is designed for relaxation, but it isn't through cookies and muted colors. It has family-friendly spaces (e.g. game tables, a pool) and some spaces oriented more towards adults (e.g. a unique bar, a hot tub). In the rooms, we had the most effective blackout curtains I've ever had in a hotel. It was quiet and made for a great night's sleep.

Cons:

If I was forced to pick anything, it's a tiny thing -- the soap dishes in the bathrooms are an awkward shape for bar soap. They are, however, great for a little jewelry dish.

Unique, Fun experience. Amazing food! Cool brewery on site.

Cons:

I politely inquired about an early check in, to which I was met with what felt like a literal laugh in my face. I understand the reasoning behind a room not being available but the bald male staffing the desk came across as arrogant and unwelcoming. I’m being polite in my description whereas I can come up with other names to describe his unprofessionalism.

Definitely will book again, very clean!
Pros:

All the staff was very nice an accommodating. Decor was really cool, very neat place to stay. Very clean!! Definitely will book again.

Cons:

Unattended kids at the pool. It would have been helpful to know about the QR codes under the TV to help navigate our stay a little better. It wasn't mentioned when we checked in and we saw it on the way out.
