Ideal for 1-2 nights max
Pros:

- Great location, near the station and at the bottom of the main high street.
- Shower was big and good pressure/temp.
- Reception staff was really friendly upon arrival and got us an extra fan as it was quite hot.
- Fridge was very large and plenty of utensils.

Cons:

- Room did get very warm and fans weren’t able to keep the temp down. We also think the fridge was probably contributing to the heat.
- Mattresses weren’t the best, one kept sinking down the middle.

Pros:

Nice big room

Cons:

The place is nice however sometimes the road infront of it get noisy.
It is nothing to do with the hotel as the hotel is quite nice.

Pros:

How central it was ...near to shops the staff was nice and friendly

Cons:

The hotel in its self was ok ..the cars of young people out side doing drugs and being noisy was an issue there was drug exchanges out side ..

Ok, but very dated.
Pros:

Very helpful receptionists.

Cons:

No breakfast offered. External noise due to City Centre location. No air-con in room. Broken lift.

Uncomfortable & boiling hot, friendly staff
Pros:

Location is spot on for the area, however the street the hotel sits on seems to be the place to be a popular place for groups to hang around causing noise & nuisance, and the very open use of drugs outside of hotel, (though thats not the hotels fault and staff were friendly)
Shower pressure was lovely
Tv is a decent size with great TV signal
Love the idea of a fridge in the room
Provided bathroom toiletries.
Its ok for the money (but would expect a comfy sleep)

Cons:

Was kept awake most of the night with noises from outside and inside, every door slams and it echos.
The bed was probably the worst bed ive ever stayed in the comfort was 0.
The heat in the hotel was unbearable they had tried to open window close curtains and provided a desktop fan which I do appreciate but an upgrade of air-conditioning would be highly ideal. All the rooms were stifling we had 6 rooms between us all and all 6 were ridiculously hot.

Our bathroom had a strong smell of urine and the place overall just didnt smell clean.

Tbh if the beds were upgraded and they updated their system to make the hotel cooler, then It wouldnt be a bad hotel at all.

Pros:

Really pleased with the size of the twin room we had, great to have a fridge & microwave as well as kettle & tea/coffee etc.
Staff really friendly & helpful and location is perfect for the city centre, docks area & the rugby stadium, will definitely stay here again!

Cons:

Nothing, all was good.

Very good value for short breaks and is close to the centre of town.
Pros:

Rooms we had were on the ground floor, with easy access. They were clean, and we had the use of an ironing board and iron, which they kindly got for us. Staff were friendly and very helpful

Cons:

The lift yet again was out of order, so happy we booked ground floor this time. Also, the beds are very low, difficult to get out of as i am disabled at the moment, being that they are on the ground floor, perhaps getting some bed risers would help future customers..

Pros:

Nice touch with a fridge, cutlery etc and biscuits. Lovely shower too.

Cons:

Whilst my stay was a few days after the very hot period, the room itself was ridiculously hot and uncomfortable.

Great hotel
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in Gloucester City centre so a great location for all your needs. Three minutes walk from the bus station and five minutes walk from the train station.
