The room was perfect, location is ideal for train access but very loud.

O hotel é maravilhoso, bem localizado. Equipe atenciosa, bar impecavel com drinks incriveis. Foi a nossa segunda estadia em Oslo neste hotel, com certeza ficaremos mais vezes... Sobre o cafe da manha, inesquecivel, um dos melhores. E sobre a equipe, mando aqui um abraço à Sara, que nos atendia no cafe da manha!!! Tudo maravilhoso!!

Wonderful hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast was amazing and staff wonderful.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Amerikalinjen. We had a flight delay so got in later than expected and also didn't receive our luggage. The staff at reception went above and beyond helping us find stores that were open early the next morning so that we could get some of the necessities, and even called up to our room with other ideas that they thought of after we checked in. The location was fabulous. Steps away from central station, and an easy walking distance to the Opera House and Munch Museum. The rooms were very clean, and we also received an upgrade to a slightly larger room type. The breakfast in the morning was a very nice spread. We did Norway in a Nutshell and used a porter service to take our luggage on (it did finally show up!) to Bergen, and the staff was so helpful in that process.

We had such an amazing time at this hotel. What is key to note is the location! You can catch a train almost anywhere in Oslo outside your front door. The opera house and museums are within walking distance. The staff went above and beyond to make this a great experience for us. We traveled around Norway for two weeks and this was the best breakfast that we had. Overall just a wonderful experience!

Our room was cosy, but perfectly fine, breakfast is great and has everything. Hotel is located near railways station and all the trams and buses you could possibly need. All the staff are excellent. There is some building work going on at the back of the hotel which generally starts at about 8am - but it;s a great alarm clock!

Excellent location and helpful staff. Rooms were very modern and good. The breakfast was also very good with lots of variety.

the free breakfast is the best in Oslo. They also have a highly rated dinner restaurant. Location near train station. Bed is very comfortable.

We stayed here only two nights. We really liked everything about the hotel. Bathroom (shower) and bed linens were great - the most important things at a hotel in my opinion.

Although Trip Advisor says that this hotel has AC, it does not. The room is so small that we can’t put the second bag in the floor and there’s no dresser. It’s stuffy and overlooks a city square, which is noisy and at least since we arrived an hour ago is the place of very loud and non-stop Christian music. So, we now have the choice of opening the window for some air or to listen to loud incessant noise. Not looking forward to tonight, especially if it rains so we need to close the window.

Great location in Oslo, short walk from the AirPort Express train. nice room and good breakfast.

The building is beautiful and I think the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. The staff were charming but natural and very helpful.
