Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel

The room needs maintenance, it took 4 hours to get linen for pull out.

It could have been cleaner

I like because It is right across from the beach. Is very clean. The beds are very comfortables. I also liked that the pool is right in front of the beach.

Our stay was extremely disappointing due to the condition of the room and the lack of customer service.

We were given a room with what could barely be described as a window. During our stay, housekeeping only cleaned the room twice despite our requests. We went four days without fresh towels or toilet paper, as staff told us the hotel had run out of both. We never received a proper duvet cover despite asking multiple times and were only given flat sheets.

The room was in poor condition, the TV didn't work, the shower was broken, the furniture and fixtures were old and worn, the walls were paper-thin, and a loud noise from the air conditioning/ventilation kept waking us throughout the night.

We reported all of these issues several times and were repeatedly told someone would look into them, but no one ever did. I finally asked to change rooms and even offered to pay for an upgrade. The evening receptionist asked me to return the next morning. Unfortunately, the receptionist on duty the following morning was dismissive and rude. She repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do because we had booked through Booking.com and refused to consider moving us unless a maintenance technician confirmed the issues couldn't be repaired. No technician ever came.

We traveled to attend our friends' wedding, along with many other wedding guests who were also staying at the hotel. Several of them were equally dissatisfied with their stay.

I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

The price was so expensive for what you get. The breakfast buffet was lacking and the same thing everyday. The rooms were dirty and had bugs. Our one room had a bag of drugs left in a drawer from the previous guests. The front desk workers were rude amd unhelpful. We asked for towls and blankets that took hours to get there. I asked for more toilet paper they only gave us 2 rolls for a week for a big family and they responded with we don't have any and we had to take it off a cleaning cart as we walked by. One of the springs in the mattress was broken and sticking out and one of our party members sliced his leg on it.

My grandmother slept on the pull out couch and she said that wasn’t very comfortable. Also we called twice for bedding for that and nobody came and had to call a third time because we were ready for bed and nothing was left out bedding wise even though it was booked for 5 people total. My kids said the pool was always cold so that was a bummer.

I didn't like the menu

They never answered our phone calls (we even dialed all the numbers!). The front desk staff not always available! We booked 2 rooms and our check in is supposed to be at 4pm but they said only one room is available at the moment. The 2nd room became available at 6pm!!!

I don't have any complaints about the Virginia Beach Sheraton .
Accept I wanted to stay longer but vacation was over !!!

The grounds was dirty and the cabanas needed xleaning

It was an hr passed check in time before we could get in our room due to a checking of the rooms by cleaning staff. She asked for my phone number to call me when it was ready. I went up 2 more times after that&it still wasn't ready. Then once it was an hr passed check in i went up & the girl at the front desk said she didn't have my phone number to contact me to tell me it was ready even though I had given it to them & I was sitting in the lobby in front of her the entire time. The coffee maker had no start button & it took 2 days of requesting for a new one before I got one just dropped off in it room while we we're out. We had to remove the broken coffee maker & set up the be one. There was only 1 towel in the room. I had to dry off with a hand towel. The AC went out twice. My husband told the front desk &they sent maintenance after I the AC had already started back up. When the maintenence work was leaving he said is this the setting you want.? Which it was on AC at the tempature we wanted. So my husband said yes. & the maintenance man pushed a button really quick & left. Right after that it started to get warm in the room & my husband looked at the AC control &the maintenence changed it from AC to heat. We had to ask for towels & toilet paper because no one ever came by to provide anything. The only staff that were nice were the two bell hops in the front. They were super nice&helpful. And the two guys at the pool area were always trying to make sure we were both comfortable.
