The Best Westin is the best!
Pros:

It’s in a great location - in walking distance from Dresden Neustad and close to the river and the old town, and in a really nice neighbourhood. There’s a tram stop right around the corner The staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in a Comfort room and it was nice and big - plenty of space and a lovely lookout over the neighbourhood. I was very impressed overall.

Cons:

The doona was quite thick. Would have liked the option for a thinner blanket (but to be fair, I didn’t ask if they had a thinner blanket).

Pros:

I stayed here as part of a bike trip, so I’m writing this review from a cyclist’s perspective.

The hotel is calm and clean, although it’s a little outside the city centre. It’s about a 10–15 minute bike ride from Dresden Hbf station.

There was a dedicated bicycle parking, a small rack down in the parking area.

The room was spacious enough, with good blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep and a sturdy, comfortable bed.

The supermarket REWE was not far from the hotel, around 5 minute walk.

Cons:

Although it wasn’t particularly hot the previous day or night, the absence of air conditioning was still noticeable.
