Really good find and would stay again
Pros:

Charming, loads of character, really good food and excellent staff who really seemed to care.

Cons:

Room a little small ( we had a dog). The price of a pint of beer, circa £8

Great room, great food, great place.
Pros:

Cream tea on arrival was spectacular. Real leaf tea with fresh scone, cream and jam. Scrummy and a lovely touch.
Fabulous old building with exposed period features.

The staff went over and above to make us feel truly spoiled during our stay!
Pros:

Comfortable, characterful rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Very quiet at night. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had!

Very clean and beautiful rooms
Pros:

The rooms were all beautifully decorated in different styles and very clean. Our family had 3 of the 5 rooms. On arrival we were offered complimentary cream teas, which went down well. Beds very comfy and our room( the Aviary) was very spacious and quiet.The breakfast was delicious and well presented. Also had gluten free options and Oat milk. We only stayed one night for a wedding nearby, but would definitely recommend it. The village was picturesque.

Great rooms, lovely pub and amazing food
Pros:

Really nice pub/hotel with a great bar area. We had dinner on Sunday night, which was excellent and then the breakfast this morning was superb. I couldn't recommend this any more.

Lovely location, quirky facilities, great food and reasonable selection of good ales and wine.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. It was in an ideal location for our needs that weekend

Cons:

Disappointed to discover the rack rate was less than the cost we paid on the booking site.
