Great location, staff were wonderful, beautiful facility and comfortable room.
VERY loud wedding that absolutely blasted music until pretty late at night on the first night. The staff warned us when we checked in and put us on the highest floor available but we could still feel the bass music and sing along word for word on the 9th floor. Yay for weddings, but some reasonable volume control would have been nice. You can have a great party without music quite that loud.
Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.
No fan in bath so smoke detector would go off when showering.
The lobby and restaurant were very nice and felt luxury.
The room was a little smaller than expected from the photos.
Emplacement, qualité des chambres
Accueil assez froid
Great location. Warm staff. Nice aesthetic.
Shower water pressure is a bit low
We really enjoyed this hotel. The location next to Old Town is perfect. No need to drive and try to park there. The interstate was easy to access for getting out to sightsee beyond Old Town. The visit was great, right from check-in when we were warmly greeted with cookies (biscochitos) and bottles of cold water. The check-in process itself was quick and easy, and we were given great information and suggestions for our visit. An unexpected bonus was to discover that parking is both plentiful and free, rare for a big-city hotel. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the city and mountains from our balcony (not large but so worth it). A request for a towel exchange was taken care of within minutes. We booked a package that included breakfast in the restaurant, and that too was a pleasant experience. Delicious options in quiet, peaceful environment decorated in New Mexico style. The only complaint we had was that we had only booked 2 nights, and wished we had planned to stay longer. If we are ever able to return to Albuquerque, we would not stay anywhere else.
The location is close to old town and also to the highway 40
The ac unit is too loud to sleep
Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town is always our first choice when traveling cross country. Each stay has been delightful. This time I noticed that we did not pass a hotel staff member, regardless housekeeping, maintenance, service, etc....without them saying hello, asking how our stay was and asking if there was anything we needed. Kudos to Management for their superior training and putting together such a glowing team. They do a wonderful job in representing the hotel.
A true Southwest Camino Real Experience!
(Royal Highway)
As a fifth generation descendant of the original Spanish Colonizers on my Fathers side and 4 generations of Mexican ancestors on my Mothers side I can speak with great certainty that The Hotel Albuquerque truly nails the beauty of the “Hispanic” culture not only in beautiful Architecture but more importantly in the true and genuine hospitality of my Native People!
From the moment you arrive the caring and attentive front desk clerks greet you with pleasant and welcoming attitudes and sincere interest in making you feel like you have come home! “Let me get you some water” was the first thing the nice guys at the desk said as he ran around the counter to offer assistance to my handicap wife in getting to the seating area in the lobby! Nothing extravagant but something no one seems to do these days.
From that moment forward we were dotted upon and every staff member made the kind of eye contact and kind conversation that told us we were in a safe place!
Now about the stunning decor and architecture- this place has it all from a grand lobby with enormous Mexican iron chandeliers and splendid furnishings to the authentic brick floors! The grounds are truly a masterpiece with manicured wandering pathways and fountains.
The room was larger than typical and absolutely immaculate!
Plenty of charging ports for all the electronics we all carry and a really comfortable desk chair! The bathroom was super “Spa-like “ and a spacious and a deep soaking tub was very welcome!
Mini fridge and flatscreen with easy to use controller! BUT the crowning furnishing was the amazing bed! Honestly the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on the pillows we’re not cheap motel grade they actually had supportive weight and were also perfect!
I promise I am not a paid employee of this gorgeous Hotel but I am a huge fan of high quality and excellent service! The Southwest is truly blessed to have this caliber of Hotel to call home!

clean room, comfy bed with nice linens. Bathroom was well appointed
Our first trip to Albuquerque and this location couldn't have been more perfect! Easy walking distance to Old Town, a brewery and tap house, natural history museum, large food court pavilion with games, wine tasting, ghost tours, shops, coffee, Breaking Bad tour. So much to explore within a two block radius!
Nothing to dislike! Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet area, food and drink available on site or within easy walking distance.
The location was excellent. Short walk to Old Town.
About the only think that wasn't great was the water pressure of the shower.
Location was excellent. Very clean.
There was a wedding the night we stayed and we weren’t told or given the option of a quieter location. It was very noisy with a lot of yelling well into the night.
Beautiful hotel. Great room.
Lovely, helpful staff.
We thought that the dimmers on all the light fixtures was a wonderful idea!
