Great location to public transport and shopping.
I feel to purchase food and drink in the hotel was a little expensive. The room was nice but nothing amazing, bed and pillows average.
Beautiful and central. Convenient.
No welcoming af arrival with a drink. Room was not ready as requested.
Room a bit old and needs upgrading.
My view was not nice.
No complimentary water bottles in the room.

Centrally located. Easy to walk to places of interest and a train station next door.
Everything was great
Reception was exceptional, we arrived early to get ready for a family wedding and she accommodated our early arrival.
Breakfast was lovely, staff once again were helpful and friendly.
Trains weren’t running from the Gold Coast so stayed here for a seminar in Brisbane. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable with one of the best hotel beds we have experienced. Some traffic noise but not horrendous. We had drinks in the bar, there’s not much ambience but the staff are great. Dinner in Bistro Suzette was very good and again the staff were excellent. The biggest let down was the executive lounge. Staff delightful but the food was mediocre and bland. Didn’t have breakfast. The staff are what make the experience at this hotel. Overall we didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Given the Sofitel price point I don’t see it as value for money.
We were put up at the Sofitel Brisbane by virgin due to a flight delay. The downstairs area was nice but not our room. I can’t say that this is anywhere near a Sofitel standard, more like a 3 star hotel.
After staying at the Sofitels in Adelaide and Sydney and also overseas, this property is an embarrassment to the Sofitel brand. Hopefully renovations will be done ASAP
I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Brisbane, and I would especially like to recognize Jeffrey for his outstanding hospitality.
Even during a challenging situation, Jeffrey was consistently kind, attentive, and professional. His willingness to help and his reassuring attitude made a significant difference to my overall experience. It is always memorable when a staff member goes beyond simply doing their job and genuinely makes a guest feel welcomed and cared for.
Thank you, Jeffrey, for your dedication and excellent service. It was greatly appreciated.
I recently stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, conveniently located above Central Rail Station in the heart of Brisbane CBD. The hotel is well located for business but I wouldn’t say it lives up to its luxury brand name. The worst part was the overnight traffic noise even though we stayed on one of the higher floors. The windows are not double glazed so they don’t provide much sound insulation at all. Poor sleep resulted. The room size is large and that’s a positive compared to other Brisbane hotels at similar pricing. The pool was nicely heated for July. I am not sure of the exact temp but I would say at least 28 degrees. It was comfortable. I did not feel cold at all. However, keep in mind the pool is small and I imagine, can get crowded in peak season. The breakfast buffet was okay. Usual hotel fare. I did like the juicer and created my own drink concoction each morning. Wifi was excellent. Would I be back? I don’t think so. I think I prefer SouthBank Brisbane location much more.
