Exactly what I wanted and great value for money
Pros:

Fantastic value for the money and best breakfast I had in Italy.

Cons:

They gad a problem with ants and tge main gall way carpets are in need of replacement!

Pros:

Staff were great. Pool area was good and staff there was very friendly and helpful. Room was good size.

Cons:

Room wasn't ready when we arrived after checkin time of 14:00. Had to wait by pool for 30+ min to get room.

Lovely hotel and room. Pool was good

Cons:

Bar at pool side and access to food at the poolside shuts too early. Not ideal. Beach side area is not great. Brochure of area seems a little misleading. You are really just on a roadside with not much in the way of facilities other than paid beach bars which all seem a little exclusive or run down or were shut.

Pros:

Very nice. Good value for money. Great swimming pool, bar and restaurant. No need to get out from the hotel if you do not want to. About 6 km from the center of Catania.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ob es um Ausflüge ging oder Bustickets, man half wo man konnte.

Cons:

Das einzige Manko war der Lärm auf der Straße, da die Balkontüre eine dünne Scheibe hat..Lärm bis 3 Uhr morgens, dann 2 Stunden Ruhe und wieder Lärm.

Old hotel with old pictures on site
Pros:

Located in good frontal beach area with great access to sea and sun beds

Cons:

First room I got was terrible! Nothing like in pictures and probably renovated 15 years ago as minimum. Bad smell in corridors and everything is over perfumed in reception, elevators and corridors for a reason. Hotel needs proper cleaning and maintenance. Had to change first given room because it looked nothing like what is on property’s pictures, it was dirty and smelled terrible with urine. Staff changed the room to better with one hour wait to be ready which was way better solution and in newer side of building. Thanks god it was only a transfer overnight stay and not whole holidays booking because hotel is old, and not worth the value of money. Attaching only first room pictures.
