Pros:

The rooms are small but very cozy, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the view from the room was lovely. The location was definitely the highlight, especially for our first trip to Seoul. Many of the main attractions are within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient. Overall, a great place to stay!

Pros:

Super Lage perfekt für alle die zufuß bzw. Mit den Öffis unterwegs sind. Extra Pluspunkt für normalgroße Handtücher entgegen dem Koreanischen standart. Bad ist eine nasszelle und ab und zu braucht es ein bisschen gefühl bis man vom Wasserhahn auf den Duschkopf umgeschalten hat.

Cons:

Zimmer eher Klein.

Pros:

The location is convenient!! Lots of nice shops around!

The bed and pillow were hard.

It’s very quiet at night.

Cons:

It’s not crystal clean, probably because the room was pretty white. I managed to find some hairs around the stairs and on the table in my room. The hotel has a bit of smell which wasn’t decent. It can be a bit dark to walk to the hotel at night. Make sure to enter from the Starbucks from the main road.

Pros:

La chambre est certe petite, mais très fonctionnelle.
Il y a à disposition dans la chambre une petite enceinte et un engin pour se masser le dos ou les pieds ce qui est tres agréable pour se relaxer quand on a passé sa journée a marcher. Hôtel relativement propre. L'emplacement était pour moi parfait, rue calme mais dans un quartier dynamique et plein de chose a visiter !

Pros:

スタッフがとても親切。部屋が清潔。心地いい。歴史的なパークが近くにある。カフェやレストランも近くにある。

Perfect base for Seoul!
Pros:

Tong Tong was the perfect stay for my trip. I travelled solo but had a twin room with bunk beds. The rooms are compact but there was ample room for a desk, mini fridge, chair a few hooks, full-length mirror etc. Plus the hotel has common spaces in the basement and on the roof (both inside & outside) where more room is needed. The bathroom was a typical Korean wet room, which might annoy some people but you’re given wet room shoes & I was able to wash my hair fine. Some previous reviews mentioned towels were minuscule but I received a body towel (2 as I was in a twin) plus 4 smaller hand towels & a bath mat.

The location was EXCELLENT. A stone’s throw from the Ikseon-dong hanok streets and all services you’d want, especially when travelling solo. Yet as the hotel was quiet (well insulated) & a few streets off the main road so noise wasn’t an issue. Bukchon, Myeongdong, Eujiro and Gwangjang were all walking distance as well.

The hotel also offers 3x water bottles a day + a filtered tap in reception (as well as two types of tea).

Overall very happy with the hotel but appreciate might not be right if you want lots of space.

Cons:

It’s worth noting there were previous comments about the smell of damp, which is evident in the hallways of the hotel (where the A/C is lower) but Seoul is incredibly humid so is unsurprising. My room was fine, maybe a mild smell the first night (quarantined to the bathroom, maybe from the drain) but wasn’t a problem.

It’s also worth noting that the front desk hours aren’t all day so you may need to coordinate checkin / bag drop off for storage (which I was able to use within my flight times).
