Position cleanliness good room and breakfast

The Giltar Hotel is arguably the best hotel in Tenby. The location is outstanding and the views are breathtaking.
The staff can’t do enough for you, they are so professional and friendly.
This was our third visit in a Deluxe room with views of the South Beach and Caldy Island, we are looking forward to our next visit.
You will not be disappointed with breakfast or dinner at the restaurant.

could do with a bigger car park
Great stay, excellent location, friendly staff
Extremely clean room and excellent breakfast- was at the Celtic Manor the night before and the Giltar was superior in those two aspects.
Room was extremely small,however that was probably my fault for booking it instead of larger !
No parking, however not the hotels fault considering its location- I managed to park in the side streets so not an issue for me but Courbet for other guests.
Facilities and staff were brilliant. Food was excellent. Service was very high standard 😊

Staff were all very nice, room was lovely, clean and well appointed, location is fabulous.
Sadly the food is not brilliant. Whilst the breakfast is plentiful and the choice good - they seem to struggle with a lot of customers and cope by leaving the food under heat lamps - this results in very dried up offerings. The bacon is too thick and chewy - maybe a thinner cut would work. We asked for a rare steak which was thin and very overdone and the sea bass was generous but very salty. If the food side of things was sorted out, the hotel would rate as superb!!
Clean rooms, staff are friendly, nice location generally really good.
The lift takes ages and often misses the floor you want if it's called to another floor, quicker to take the stairs more often than not

Bathroom light on a sensor. Flicks on and off if door left open. Full on bright light if using toilet in the night.
Excellent menu options and most efficiently run by responsive staff.
No dislikes, it was well managed and a thoughtfully set up dining area. I loved that I was allocated a table to myself and did not need to share with strangers with nothing in common to chat about! That was a huge Blessing indeed and the dining areas had great views of the sea too. Wow!

Location of the hotel is right at the beach front and centrally located to explore Tenby. Rooms are a bit dated but it’s ok for a short stay. Staff are helpful and friendly.
No air con as we arrived on a hot day.
