The staff available was very pleasant. However, the hotel did seem understaffed the one night I stayed there. Only one person was available at prime check-in time and there were several waiting. Still, the lady that did check me in was very pleasant.
Later, when I went for a glass of wine, the bar was very crowded & Susan was the only one bar tender/food server. She handled it all with true New Orleans hospitality and graciousness. Again, it seemed like a lack of adequate staff. The wine was so-so.
My room was a king size bed with fridge. It was clean. The sink & bathtub both had cracks in the surface. Bed was comfortable. The a/c kept the room cold. Unfortunately, the air conditioner is old, loud and disturbing. It was not a restful sleep.
Overall, the hotel looks worn and dated. I did not stay for breakfast, but it smelled nice. I understood breakfast was NOT included in my stay.
Parking is also not complimentary, but was very easy to get to and in/out.
Excellent location for airport access and long-term parking.
I am a Hiltons Honors member and generally stay with Hilton. I will think twice before staying here again.

Older building. Room was close to the point where it needed to be refreshed.
This hotel is a Motel 6 with Doubletree branding. The room is old and musky and the bathroom is very similar to an old Motel 6. We only stayed at the hotel for one night due to its location near the airport, and we appreciate the airport shuttle being available in the very early morning (2:30am). However, we would never stay here again and would not recommend it.
The property needs to be totally remodeled and in its current state detracts from the Doubletree and Hilton brands.
The property was decent and the staff members were nice.
I wish the bathroom was cleaner. The top of the toilet was very dusty and the tub could have used some cleaning. We only stayed on night to catch an early morning flight.

Staff on reception very nice at night felt they wasn't as helpful the next morning.Not saying they wasn't helpful .but the man that was on at night was more friendly and more approachable .
