Nice stay overall, but serious billing and service follow-up issues
Pros:

Overall, we liked the hotel. The lady at the front desk gave us a very warm welcome at check-in, and we were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful room on the 11th floor with a Capitol view. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great, and the shuttle worked well until the final day.

Cons:

In the morning, housekeeping tried to open our door several times without knocking while we were still sleeping. Later, our keys stopped working, and the front desk staff told us nobody was supposed to be in our room until we showed our reservation and received new keys. On our last day, the shuttle from Pentagon City never arrived, and we later learned it was temporarily out of service. We were told to take Uber/Lyft and submit the receipt for reimbursement.
The biggest issue was that after we returned home, we discovered the hotel charged us the full reservation amount again, even though we had already paid through Booking.com. We emailed the hotel and submitted the Lyft receipt, but have not received a response so far. This duplicate charge and lack of follow-up are very disappointing.

Wonderful stay in DC

Perfect !
We had a wonderful stay there.
The breakfast is excellent.
We’d like to thank Beatriz for her kindness every day. She’s truly thoughtful and greeted us with a smile every morning at breakfast.
The room was spacious, and the shuttle services between the hotel and the metro, as well as between the hotel and the airport, make getting around Washington D.C. much easier.

Room upgrade with great view of the city, definitely worth paying for the full view. Professional reception staff.

Cons:

Vending machines are only drinks. No body wash in the pump, though they did have mini bottles. May be worth either filling the pumps or removing the pumps on the wall.

El hotel estuvo muy bien, fue un poco complicada la comunicación porque ninguno en al recepción hablaba español, pero no tuvieron problemas para emplear el traductor, las habitaciones super limpias, cómodas, me encanto el aseo y sobre todo el transporte que tiene hacía el aeropuerto y el centro comercial.

Cons:

El desayuno estuvo rico, pero todos los días era lo mismo, y se cansa al comensal, además había una empleada del restaurante, no se su nombre pero era la única que hablaba español, muy apática, y todo tocaba pedírselo, nos entregaba los desayunos para llevar de una manera no muy gentil, y aunque éramos dos los que desayunábamos, varios días nos sirvió un solo café y un solo jugo, un día nos dio un solo contenedor para la fruta, y así fueron 4 días. En cambio la señora Marta aunque no hablaba español siempre nos recibió en el restaurante con una sonrisa y sus atenciones fueron excelentes.
