The staff was amazing to check-in was very painless, very fast, with many people checking in. The bar attendant was super nice. Carry it on conversations with everybody super attentive.. The pool was very relaxing
If I had to complain about anything and it's really not a complaint. I wish there would have been a microwave in the room to heat up our leftovers from dinner.

We booked this hotel last minute as we are stopping in Raleigh on a road trip . But a family member lives in Charlotte as well as Carowinds being a place we wanted to visit. I read the reviews and was worried about stopping. But so glad we did . Great hotel . Lovely room. Clean and no issues. The fan was leaking water a little but that was fine.
We weren’t having breakfast but our sons were hungry. So I said they could have a bagel each and didn’t need buffet, the server was rude and told me they are $5 and no buffet and shrugged as he walked off . Then didn’t give me chance to order drinks so when he came back I tried to order drinks and felt he was already walking away. Feel manners cost nothing as I am paying for it so what does it matter …
Receptionists both friendly and polite …
Pool was lovely too. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor idea…

The location is isolated. This forces you to eat at the hotel and food there was mediocre.
Avoid this hotel! It is nothing like the pictures and it’s been years since any maintenance has been performed: cobwebs in the lobby, stained ceiling tiles everywhere, walls are discolored, hot tub has a pallet over it and it’s been like that for years they say, carpet is torn up, this place is the worst marriott property I have ever seen and for sure the worst Sheraton property. Avoid at all costs!

I did not like the fact there was no microwave in rooms to warm food item. As well as no free breakfast
The room was nice and clean. Loved the coffee in the room! It's close to downtown. There is a gas station and many fast food restaurants not too far down the road. Didn't have time to visit the restaurant but next time I plan a stay, I will definitely book with the Sheraton by the airport.
Location, very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bartender Tara was absolutely amazing. The check in experience was very pleasant as well. The guys that drove the shuttle van to and from the airport were amazing also. The driver on the way back, explain the hours of the shuttle, he told us about the food, the bar, etc. Overall experience was great.

Bathroom not clean. No extractor fan. Leak in bathtub faucet. Dim lighting in room and common areas. Property seems dated.
