Roaches in our room!
Pros:

Roaches! Upon telling the front desk they offered to give us a free breakfast! 🤢 Happened when I woke up and turned on the bathroom light to take a shower. Never staying here again. They didn’t even send us a survey….wonder why! Old scratched up furniture too.

Cons:

It’s not the property that gave issue, it was checking in. They charged me 3 times! The staff at the desk acted like it was their first day. Maybe it was. I got the monies clear up but it was a hassle.

Pros:

Easy check in quiet room on upper floor. Great shuttle ride over. Pool nice one day. Nice executive lounge in the evening. Pool down one day, internet down and television down same night and morning. Shuttle ride back to airport by staff member who was not pleasant at all and showed us his apparent high speed driving skills.

The front entrance was nice.

Cons:

Called before to make sure the pool was heated they said it was so that was the main reason we booked there. Once we go there the water was freezing both days we were there.

Clean comfortable safe room with convenient airport parking
Pros:

We stayed here overnight when flying out of town, then again after returning. Our drive from home to the airport and back is 2 hours each way, so staying here makes the trip less brutal, especially when catching an early flight. Plus, you can buy a package at the hotel that includes 4 days of parking, which makes it cheaper than parking at CLT long-term parking, even if you have to buy extra days.

The whole hotel was clean and very nicely decorated. We felt safe the whole time we were here. We ate at the restaurant downstairs once for dinner, and it was nice (a separate review for that later). The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that on the return stay, the climate control system in the room kept blowing cool air, regardless of what I tried with the thermostat. It didn't bother us while we slept, but it was uncomfortable in the morning when we were getting ready to leave. I didn't want to call someone about it because we just wanted to get some sleep and leave early in the morning. I told the front desk about it on the way out, and they said they would have someone look at it.

This hotel has kind of become part of our travel routine because of the comfort and convenience when flying in and out of CLT. We recommend it.

Best hotel at CLT
Pros:

Back in this hotel on the way home via Charlotte. This is now my go to place at CLT. Speedy shuttle, friendly people, food not bad. The room has a comfortable chair.
