Lost its quiet luxury feel, now crazy crowded and busy.
Pros:

This hotel used to have a very personal, luxury boutique feel. However, since a huge extension was built, it has tripled in size. The reception area, restaurant, breakfast and pool area are now crazy crowded and busy. There are long queues for breakfast, the pool is noisy and crowded. Maybe good for large corporate groups and families with young kids, not so good for quiet luxury.

Cons:

Although the rooms themselves are nice and the staff are pleasant, I’ve rated everything lower to give a lower review score to this hotel because it has now comprised its once luxury quality, no longer our chosen hotel in Auckland.
