No nearby walking distance to local sitdown restaurants. Property doesn’t have a standard corporate feel of a Hyatt Regency.
Maintenance staff that came in response to reconnect the television that was inadvertently disconnected during the attempted replacement of thefaulty coffee maker was prompt and efficient and pleasant. Staff in the convenience store was exceptional, especially Carmen. Coffee maker in the room only works once. Staff replaced upon request with another coffee maker that would only work once. Full disclosure, we counted the same problem in another hotel believe it is with the under performing model, chosen by hotel chains. The egregious all night long false fire alarm situation should have been handled better mechanically.

It was very expensive, breakfast was not included considering how expensive it was and parking was also an additional cost. Overall, it was very expensive.
Great place, we stayed for the Fourth of July weekend. Busy weekend, and still, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The chaos in Newport this weekend did not spill over into our hotel. And if it did, it went unnoticed. Check-in was quick and easy, and everything was clean and in order. Would definitely book again.
Excellent stay at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach West! The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The location is convenient and I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was staffed with the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at any Hyatt I have stayed at. I have been part of the loyalty program since 1998. I was extremely happy with our room and all of the services provided, I would happily stay at this hotel anytime.
