Cons:

They did not have the room I reserved and said did not have a room with king bed. While in fact they had rooms with king beds. So I wasted time sending me back and forth- bathroom did not have hot water and took a cold shower. When I reported it, I had to change a room which took time. In the new room tub was clogged - this is very unlike of Sheraton

A great location as a base to tour New Orleans
Pros:

The Sheraton is in a great location very near the French Quarter but far enough away so the noise doesn't bother you.
The room was clean, you get a new bottle of water each day and tea/coffee making supplies replaced each day.
The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel was air conditioned.

Cons:

The public areas of the hotel were air conditioned but too cold, I attended a conference there and sat for a full day in the cold was not pleasant.
When booking via booking.com apparently a package is added to the cost, the hotel cannot take this off. You do get a daily $15 discount of food and drink within the hotel if you charge it to your room, but you have to use it each day or you lose it for the days you don't use it. You also get a $30 discount on tours or attractions for each day you stay, but you can only use one per booking and cannot use one per person so we ended up having some left over.
This would be much better as an option on top of the room cost if you want to take it.

Cons:

The room was filthy. Carpets had sticky stuff on it in places and the room generally was not clean or hygienic. The shower was gross and water leaking out of the celing of the shower. It was reported twice but ignored both times. Lobby smells like deep fried food all the time. Additional charges to the room make room service unobtainable. Wi-Fi is not great either. They explained that the wifi no matter what option is free but i will have to see the final bill.

LocationThe hotel has a fantastic location, which I really loved. The person who welcomed us at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast dining area was very nice, and we really enjoyed our breakfast. The room was also spacious and comfortable.

However, the hotel could benefit from better maintenance. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, and the bathtub was extremely slippery, which was particularly concerning since I was traveling with my daughters. I also had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the location, the friendly service, and the spacious room. With a few maintenance improvements, the experience could be even better.

great location, need to improve the cleaning
Pros:

the location is great, the rooms are very spacious and the bed is comfortable.

Cons:

my room was dirty, there was someone else’s nail tip over the desk and i had to look behind the bed for something i had dropped and it was very dusty.
