Nice stay blessed t a few hiccups during our stay.
Pros:

Rooms clean. Very good front desk staff. Any requests were met in a timely fashion.

Cons:

Air conditioner did not blow cool at times. We heard that from a feed rooms in our party. The restaurant and bar area was warm. Overall the air conditioning was substandard. The majority of cleaning staff did not speak English and was hard to communicate with them.

Great Marriott stay, no surprises
Pros:

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting friends at the beach and everything went as smoothly as possible.

Room was big and clean, as was the hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had a great time in the cool pool that goes from inside to outside.

My son left his prized stuffed animal in the room and the staff were so helpful in working with us to get it back.

We'll absolutely stay here again if we're back in the area.

The facility is nice. The staff are nice. But we wanted a good night’s sleep. We didn’t get that.
Pros:

The facility and staff are very nice

Cons:

The air conditioning was very loud. It would go on and off all night long. Sounded like jet plane taking off in our room each time. Deafening As a result, we slept very poorly.

Terrible
Pros:

I don't normally write negative reviews, after leaving 3 messages and sending 2 emails to the manager with no response here it is. We checked into the hotel at 3:15 om June 21, 2026. We got to the room, and it was still dirty and not cleaned yet, went back to front desk and they moved us to room 627. We got ready for dinner went out and came back around 9:30pm, got into bed. Fifteen minutes after lying in bed my friend said she smelled a string urine odor; she hopped out of bed and pulled the "clean" sheets down. The urine smell was very strong, she got closer to the mattress, and the urine smell was overwhelming. I called down to front desk explained that the mattress was soaked with urine and they sent up the house keeping with new sheets. I called back down and she said they would move us to 627, and she would be right up with the key. Not it is 10:15 pm and we packed up all our stuff to move down the hallway. We waited in the hallway another 15 minutes nobody came with a key. I went down to the lobby and the young lady said oh sorry I had to deal with another issue, she gave me the keys and we got into the new room. The new room had an air conditioner that barely worked and turned off and on every 3 minutes all night. We checked out the next morning at 9:30 am and I told the front desk what had happened she said a manager would be in touch. I have called and emailed but still no response. If you plan to stay here beware of the cleanliness and the air contioner issues. Good Luck

The room is a sauna
Pros:

We are in the executive suite and it’s like 80 degrees. The maintenance man didn’t show up so we’re just in here baking. It’s a day after our wedding and we just wanted to chill out (literally) but instead we are sweating in our room. Unacceptable.

Check your water to be safe!!
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

Our stay would have been better if the shower and sink had cold water very inconvenient with a toddler could of burned us with the scolding hot water told staff and they said that we would be compensated for the inconvenience but they never did.

OVERBOOKED HOTEL BY 65 ROOMS and cancelled all reservations for a wedding without notifying
Pros:

If a zero-star rating were an option, this hotel would unequivocally receive it. Our experience has been nothing short of horrific.

Our reservation, secured through a room block on November 3rd, 2025, was abruptly cancelled via email and text on Monday, June 1st, 2026, without any prior communication or explanation. We later discovered that the hotel had severely overbooked, displacing an entire wedding party of 65 rooms and relocating us to a "sister hotel" down the street.

Attempts to get clarity from the hotel directly proved futile. Not a single staff member seemed informed about the situation or how it would be resolved, directing us instead to the DoubleTree hotel where we were supposedly transferred. However, upon contacting the DoubleTree, they had no record or information regarding our transfer from the Sheraton.

Despite numerous calls and emails to the Sheraton, I have received no satisfactory information regarding this cancellation or how they intend to rectify this catastrophic oversight.

I will unequivocally state that I will never, under any circumstances, book this hotel again. This level of disorganization and disregard for guest reservations is entirely unacceptable.

Won't return or recommend!
Pros:

We booked our stay for my cousin's wedding back in December. We wanted to extend our stay so a couple days, by adding an additional day on both sides of the reservation. So, I checked prices ($167/night) and called the hotel directly. I was told that only a manager could help me and was given the email for Kya Gonzalez, Operations Manager. She was able to book the 2 additional nights and assured me that it would be at the rate given online based on the photos I sent at the time. Unfortunately, that was not the case and on my final bill, I was charged $219 a night instead. (I do have the emails and photos to share if needed.) Besides the issue with the price, we had an awful stay.

We checked in late Thursday afternoon, after a long day of travelling. We turned the air conditioning on as we headed to bed. We woke up in the early morning hours, sweating from the heat in the room. We shut the air off in hopes that it would restart but it didn't. When we headed out Friday morning, I asked the front desk if someone could look at it and they said yes. After returning a couple hours later, our room was still very hot. I called down to the front desk and they apologized and said they would send maintenance up but I asked them to wait until we were leaving in about 40 minutes. He came a couple times while we were in the room (we had many people changing, due to their rooms not being accessible, so couldn't let him in) and asked him to return later. When we were leaving, I didn't see him so I asked the front desk to please send him while we were gone. The front desk staff was very nice about it and said that if it wasn't able to be fixed, we would switch room. When we got home later that night, the room was still very hot. At this point, we couldn't change rooms because the systems were down and people checking in could barely do so. All weekend it was like a sauna in our room.

On top of the excessive heat, our water pressure was more like a trickle, we had constant issues connecting to the internet, it was rare to see all the elevators working at the same time, and to top it off there were 2 fire alarms. The front desk staff was truly great and worked very hard for all their customers, even though none of the glitches were their fault, they were definitely on the frontlines. The fact that management didn't send in other workers as back up or even show up themselves to help out in this disaster was truly appalling!

As Marriott members, we have never had such a disastrous stay.
