An oldie but a goodie needs some love
Pros:

The staff and the amazing iconic hotel aus always wonderful however the bathrooms are dated and some parts of the rooms and facilities. The staff location and unique height of the hotel make it a favourite.

Terrific hotel in excellent location
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, the bathrooms provide necessities, and even the tea range is terrific. Location is fabulous for everything.

Cons:

The bed was not really comfortable (too soft) for someone with a bad back. The lifts are very slow. But overall, we'll be back!

We have stayed at the Sofitel Collins Street quite a few times. The fact we keep coming back speaks for itself. Location was perfect for our purposes (Run Melbourne). The hotel is welcoming, cosy and clean. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff are friendly and professional. Great restaurants nearby in Flinders Lane.

Lovely city stay.
Pros:

The Hotel is an iconic Collins Street destination, the room as comfy and the view incredible across the Melbourne city and beyond. The Brekky was delicious with plenty of options and again with a great view of Melbourne.

Cons:

The shower being inside the bath tub.

Annual birthday treat
Pros:

Thank you for looking after my 8yo again who chose to stay with you once again for his birthday. He was delighted with the gift and sweet treats and especially treasured the birthday hat!

We love the service at Sofitel, can't fault it. Always genuine and accommodating.

Beautiful city sunset views.

Tram stop right outside is very handy. Lots of food options downstairs if don't want to go far.

Breakfast just right although we missed being served by Alice this year who was always delightful

Cons:

Would have preferred a room without the stepover bathtub.

Not that it's necessary being winter,, but my husband would have appreciated if there was an indoor pool.
