Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels auf einer Nilinsel ist außergewöhnlich. Der Panoramablick auf den Nil war faszinierend. Das Hotelpersonal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein sicherer Platz in der turbulenten Stadt. Die Restaurants waren vorzüglich. Die Zimmer und sonstigen Örtlichkeiten waren komfortabel und sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist absolut für einen Stadturlaub in Kairo empfehlenswert. Das WLAN in der gesamten Anlage war ausgezeichnet.

It is an iconic hotel in the middle of the Nile, offering an excellent view

Cons:

The hotel is iconic, situated in the middle of the Nile River, and offers spectacular views. However, in my opinion, the property is showing its age and would benefit from a comprehensive renovation. The rooms feel outdated, particularly the carpets and furnishings. The access road to the hotel was quite surprising for a luxury-branded property—it is poorly maintained and does not provide the welcoming first impression one would expect from a hotel of this category.
The all-day dining restaurant, Le Sud, enjoys a beautiful riverside setting with excellent Nile views. However, the food selection is relatively limited, especially when it comes to authentic Egyptian cuisine. In addition, the buffet and food display area is rather small, which can make movement around the restaurant somewhat congested during busy periods.

Sehr gute Lage um Sehehenswürdigkeiten anschauen zu gehen

Zimmer X16 mit schöner Nilsicht. Am Abend (Freitag) bis in die Nacht Partystimmung auf dem Nil, da viele Boote mit Musik unterwegs.

Cons:

Fenster sind nicht schalldicht. Daher im Zimmer auch sehr laut. Schöner Pool, aber viel zu klein, für die Massen von interessierten Badegäste. Grosses Gedränge rund ums Wasser. In den Restaurants tolle Stimmung und Ambiente mit sehr gutem Essen.
