Hyatt Regency Princeton

The location is great, the bedroom had enough space and was confortable, the breakfast was very good, the pool is awesome with enough space to swim and hours of openning are great (large enough), the staff is nice and always willing to help.

Great location and a very beautiful hotel, neat and clean wedding venue. Rooms are spacious but not very clean, we saw a big cobweb near the sofa but very clean bathroom. Nice and small balcony.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. It was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

There was a wedding event taking place at the hotel, but no one informed us in advance that the event would continue until midnight. We were assigned a room next to what appeared to be a wedding coordinator’s room. Shortly after we checked in, we began hearing people constantly going in and out, doors closing, and loud conversations in the hallway.

We completely understood that a wedding is an exciting and important occasion, and we did our best to be patient. However, we had been traveling and desperately needed a good night’s rest. We went to the front desk and politely asked whether it would be possible to move to another room. The manager told us that there were no other rooms available, but she assured us that a security guard would be stationed on the floor to make sure the noise was kept under control.

Unfortunately, when we returned to our room around 9:00 PM, the noise was still extremely loud. There was loud music coming from the open atrium, along with constant conversations and activity in the hallway. We tried to be patient and assumed things would settle down by 10:00 PM. However, 10:00 PM passed, then 11:00 PM, and there was still no meaningful improvement.

At around 11:55 PM, I finally called the front desk again. The staff member told me that the event was scheduled to end at midnight and that there was nothing she could do. Her response was not only unhelpful but also came across as extremely rude and dismissive.

I simply cannot understand how a four-star hotel would expect its paying guests to tolerate this level of noise and disruption until midnight without any prior warning or meaningful accommodation. We chose this hotel expecting a comfortable and restful stay, but instead we were left feeling exhausted, frustrated, and completely disregarded.

I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and considers how situations like this are handled in the future. At the very least, guests should be informed in advance about major events that may significantly affect their stay, and reasonable efforts should be made to protect other guests from excessive noise.
