Hilton Memphis

I usually have very good luck on business trips booking Hilton properties, but regretted this one.

Coworker’s room was hot, mine was 59 degrees most mornings (seems whatever you set the thermostat to you get whatever). Luckily I was the one with hot water, but the water pressure was very poor.

Location isn’t that bad right off Poplar (though be prepared, but even with security roaming the parking lot, really not a place you would feel comfortable with being alone at night.

After a rain storm last night, the carpets in the 27th floor were sloshing with water. Probably an indication of a leak in the ceiling which was about as concerning as the crack at the bottom one of the window panes.

Wallpaper pealing, fire sprinkler just placed into a messy hole in the ceiling, filthy vents that appear to have not been cleaned in ages.

Lobby certainly had potential, but the tables had broken and defective outlets, some of the tables appeared almost water damaged (seems to be a trend).

The final night the lobby and throughout the entire hotel went from loud to feeling a bit unsafe. Large group seemed to have wrapped their even drunk and wandered around yelling at each other. Twice there was swearing and threatening each other. Probably could use security inside the hotel as well, especially without much if any staff around. I didn’t have much staff interaction,

If this was maybe an $80-$90 stay you could overlook a lot of this, but at $180-$200 a night, would have been better taking my corporate card and Diamond Status elsewhere. Actually feel bad for booking this hotel recently for a couple of my direct reports on previous trips.

Hotel is quite an old design now but the staff were great. The lobby area is spacious and open and we found quite a lot of people choose this area to work in. The WiFi in the property was initially not working correctly but was fixed mid stay. Pool and gym were ok. The food from the coffee/snack area was actually really good. Special thanks to Ms Pat in the restaurant who seemed to know everyone by name. TV system allowed us to cast our own content which was excellent

Hotel staff really lovely, kind and helpful. Ladies in the little cafe again so welcoming. We ordered croissants and tea for our first morning but were given a toasted brioche burger bun. We ate it but I did mention it the next day and the lady said that’s all they have at this particular Starbucks.
Room quite nice, very clean. Bathroom tiny and definitely needed a bit of updating. AC unit in there so noisy but you could close the door.
Staff were so great really. Would stay here again but in a different room with hopefully a better bathroom.

Trinice was so welcoming and accommodating when checking in. She truly made my stay and experience top notch! Hotel rooms are very nice and clean.

Had a great hospitality experience at breakfast! Ms Pat is such a pleasure! Travel a lot and have the opportunity to interact with lots of staff- she is a gem! Her hospitality is like staying at a Waldorf-Astoria! Breakfast was delicious on top of it.

Fraud made in name of the bank, probably someone uses their account for fraud transactions.
I've never been to US and my credit card was charged $465 by HILTON ADVPURCH8002367. If you call their purcahse department they say there is no reservation made with your card. I think someone should investigate it. There is a huge topic on reddit related. I think it's connected to breach of booking.com account.

It was a nice, clean hotel. The staff were friendly especially Ms Pat at breakfast was so welcoming & kind. The area of hotel felt safe.

I wanted to recognize one of your newer staff members Ashely for providing exceptional customer service during our stay. My wife had just undergone surgery and needed to rest, so we asked if an early check-in might be possible. She was incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating throughout the entire process.

Not only did she help arrange an early check-in, but she also assisted us with obtaining a wheelchair, which made everything much easier and significantly reduced our stress during a difficult time. She was professional, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

The fact that she is new makes her outstanding service even more impressive. Employees like her are the reason guests return. We truly appreciated her help and will definitely stay here again whenever we’re in the area.
