This hotel used to be great but must have bad management now and I recommend avoiding the place!

Stayed here for 5 years now. Usually great. Other recent negative reviews are correct. Common areas not kept clean. My room had a dirty torn chair. AC did not work, was not fixed even after I complained to staff. Wallpaper ripped in areas. One bed in my room broke as soon as I laid down. Housekeeping staff did not speak English so couldn't even communicate with them. The whole place needs new management and a remodel. Will not stay here again.

Honestly terrible. Do not stay here.
Cons:

Staff was rude, especially manager. Waited 2 and a half hours to be helped just to be told we can leave.
Tried to overcharge me for stay.
Breakfast was $17 a person for slimy eggs and bacon from a box.
A/C didn’t work.
Room was not clean. Dirty lash clusters in our bed, stains on beds and curtains.
Fridge did not work.
