There isn't a single thing I actually liked at this Hilton.
The beds are horrible! My back still hurts. The tub was dirty. The pool was a complete let down. One of the staff members selling extra packages at the pool was very kind. I believe his name was Luke. But other than that singular interaction this was the absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I will never stay there again. Not to mention I had to pay $60 to park my freaking car overnight. There are no other parking options so you have to use there service. I also bought the breakfast package and promised a breakfast buffet. There is no buffet. You get a menu with the most disgusting breakfast food ever on it and they don't even have sweet tea. They pour brisk tea into a cup for you. Just ewwww.
I liked everything about the hotel and its amenities; the valet parking staff were also quick and efficient at all times. My only issue was with breakfast—they did a good job, but they need more staff; I ordered a coffee and waited 45 minutes for it, until I finally had to leave.
The room was great overall - quiet, spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I was charged for internet access even though I was told it was free. I have been a Hilton Honors member for 20 years, so this was especially disappointing.
In addition, when I needed transportation from the hotel to the cruise port, the reception staff suggested a taxi service and the valet called the driver for me. We ( 2 persons) shared with 2 more people I was charged $30 for a very short trip to the port. The taxi driver even mentioned that they have an arrangement with the hotel/valet staff.
Overall, this experience felt misleading and unprofessional.

One night stay for a Journey concert. The venue was in walking distance. Room was clean, bed and sofa were both comfortable, streaming tv. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.

As a Hilton Honors member, I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hilton Tampa Downtown. I returned to my room around 11:30 PM only to find that my room key would not work. I went down to the front desk and was given a new key card. I went back upstairs — still didn’t work. I went back down again for another card, and once again it failed. After a third trip downstairs, the staff finally realized the keypad on the door itself was broken. I then had to go back upstairs yet again and wait for an engineer late at night to fix the lock just so I could get into my room.
This was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable, especially at a hotel charging premium prices. To make matters worse, some of the electrical outlets in the room were literally coming out of the wall, which felt unsafe and poorly maintained.
For the amount Hilton charges and the standards I expect as a Hilton Honors member, this was a horrible experience. I expected much better service, maintenance, and overall attention to guest comfort and safety. how much
Had an awesome experience at the Hilton Downtown Tampa thanks to Harrison and Zander at valet. Both were professional, quick, and extremely friendly from the moment we arrived. They took great care of my car and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Customer service like this really stands out. Highly recommend!
