Liked the location and helpfulness of the staff

Cons:

Light on balcony didn't work. Had to find maid for cups and water. Mold coming from vent on wall. Looks like Mold under soap dish in the tub.

Pros:

Great location on the Charles River, close to MIT and not far from BU. More expensive rooms must have an amazing view. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Cons:

I had forgotten the mention of a "destination fee" (to cover for "complimentary" amenities) when booking the room and was surprised to have to pay an extra USD 25 per night when checking out. After checking this was clearly mentioned when booking the room so that's my bad, but why do that?

The room was nice but lacked soundproofing. My room was in front of the elevator and I could clearly ear its "ding" each time it would reach my floor, which was not great to sleep.
