The views of the river were good if you have a river facing room

Cons:

I was initially given a room right at the elevators which was very noisy. the staff very kindly moved me to another room though. I also feel like the hotel is quite isolated from public transport so when it's raining it's hard to get around. You need to walk everywhere

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and simply need an official and complete receipt for my stay so that I can get reimbursement from my work. When I was checking out and asked for a receipt/invoice/folio, I was told to request it through booking.com and they will provide it then. For a week now I have been trying to do just that without any success: First, I tried to contact the hotel through booking.com messaging, but no one replied. Then, I used the mail provided through booking.com, also no reply. Today, I have contacted the concierge/reception desk through their official mail address once again. I really do hope that I will finally get a reply! For a hotel that should be used to this kind of request from business travellers, this whole process has been astonishing as this is nothing out of the ordinary and a very simple ask.
So please do check your mail inbox and answer your messages! It can't be expected that I now have to make international calls to try to reach you when you could simply reply to messages/mails instead of ignoring them.
I am happy to change the review once this issue is resolved as my stay was otherwise good. But based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who needs reliable costumer service.

Pros:

Five Star view and location. Room and on-site amenities. Comprehensive breakfast provided. A-la-carte dinner options available. Snacks and a variety of other beverages available from the casual snack bar/cafe'. Exercise facilities on site included. Shuttle bus service between hotel and city center available.

Cons:

Our room shower operation and water temperature control needed attention.
The 4 passenger elevators in the central vestibule are 'exposed'. Although this is an impressive and unique feature of the hotel, it was an issue for us as a rather large management conference was held during 1day/evening of our 4 day stay. We found the almost continuous operation of the 4 lifts in a multi-story building (well into this particular evening); very disturbing.

Good hotel shame about what should be a simple ask
Pros:

Guy was good. Beds very comfortable. Easy walk to Cambridge along the Charles and up the river.

Cons:

Asked specifically two weeks before for a room with balcony facing up the Charles. They didn’t arrange that ask.

The layout of the room. Wasted some room but the bathroom is very small and tight. I keep bouncing around in the shower. We were thinking we would get a room to see the river, unfortunately the room we got was facing the back side to the garage, nothing to see.

That was a good choice of hotel.

Cons:

The restaurant’s breakfast setup is misleading. It’s only on the second day that you realize you can get a good breakfast—which is already included in the price—without having to pay anything extra.
