It was quite noisy from other guests - I could hear the neighbouring rooms' guests conversations - also the room had a smell as if it was mopped with not clean wipes.

Feel's Like Coming Home
Pros:

I travel for business through this area each year and always stay here. Excellent customer service. Front desk staff are very welcoming and remember me from year to year. They make me feel like I'm coming home each time I'm there. Special shout out to Omar the bellman. His demeanour and cheerfulness is absolutely delightful and made the - sometimes hectic -arrival and departure experience an absolute pleasure. The manager of the food service was also a delight. I was on the 3rd floor and found the rooms to be up to the Hyatt Regency standard, and the bed was quite comfy. My suite had a fridge too, and that's great. I liked having a guest laundry on the floor, and it was modern and free to use. The only negative for me is the massive inconvenience of having to race to get your room key out to select your floor for one of the 3 elevators. By the time you do, the elevator has passed your floor. Thankfully, it's only on the 1st elevator of the 3. I understand a security element of this, but our rooms have locked doors and I feel that's enough. The hotel is in a quiet area and feels very safe, so no need for one of the elevators to slow everyone down. Other than that, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL :). I look forward to next year.

Entrance is odd, pool was closed for a long time due to some event, ordinary room, paid parking and far from main entrance. Not worth the money.

Fine Hotel, Nothing Special
Pros:

The NB Hyatt is well located, within easy walking distance of good food, theater, and Rutgers University. It's clean and comfortable. Keep in mind that 'river view' is really a view of Route 18 and is noisier than the city view. The lobby is cavernous and not very welcoming, but the staff is friendly and helpful.
