Comfortable, Clean and Welcoming Hotel Close to Union Station
Pros:

The hotel is really beautiful inside. The staff was helpful without being intrusive. The beds were so comfortable; I got a good night's sleep -- which is rare in a hotel. The room was exceptionally clean. The fitness facility and pool were exceptional. After traveling, we enjoyed the opportunity to swim before dinner! Quality products in the locker room and hotel room. The front desk got us through check-in and check-out expeditiously. We would defintely stay there again. This hotel is a 10 minute walk to Union Station.

Great stay at a very comfortable, relaxing Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.
Pros:

Excellent location near the Capitol. Very nice, comfortable and VERY QUIET room. All areas of the Hyatt were VERY CLEAN. The staff are all outstanding and will help with anything you may need. There is also a GREAT POOL kept at a perfect temperature. The food is excellent. I did not have dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet was excellent. My stay was very restful and relaxing--all at an excellent value.

Great location by the Capitol
Pros:

This hotel is just north of the Capitol and also close to Union Station. It was the perfect location for us. We appreciated how clean, comfortable and safe it was. We also liked having little shelves by the headboards as charging stations for our phones. The main level restaurant is very good on menu, taste and quality of food, and had attentive staff.

Cons:

Parking across the street at the Yotel was quite a lot less expensive. Had the Hyatt been closer in price, we would've preferred to park on site.
Elevator #2 was quirky.

Exceptional Hospitality That Turned Our Trip Around
Pros:

Our family had an outstanding stay at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location for exploring Washington, D.C. The staff was welcoming, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations.

I especially want to recognize Benedetta for providing exceptional customer service. Our family of 10 unexpectedly found ourselves at the Hyatt after a last-minute change in accommodations. We had originally planned our trip around staying in a home where we could prepare our own breakfasts, lunches, and snacks, so the sudden switch to a hotel added both stress and unexpected expense.

After hearing our situation, Benedetta went above and beyond by advocating on our behalf and arranging complimentary breakfast buffet vouchers for our entire family for all three mornings of our stay. Her kindness and genuine care made a tremendous difference. Instead of worrying about one more unexpected expense, we were able to simply enjoy our vacation together.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and every interaction we had with the staff was friendly and professional. Benedetta’s compassion and willingness to help, transformed what started as a stressful situation into one of the highlights of our trip.

Thank you to Benedetta and the entire Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill team for making our family feel so welcome. We are incredibly grateful for your hospitality and would gladly stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Washington, D.C.

A great stay in DC!
Pros:

The Hyatt staff were kind and helpful from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff welcomed me with joy and easily processed my bags into their hold area due to my early arrival; later retrieval of those bags was easy. The staff offered waters to take while exploring DC for the day, which due to the heat, was extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and safe. I was there for a conference, and they had established a breakfast buffet for us in the ballroom. The staff welcomed us every morning with smiles and a kind word. The breakfast was excellent, especially all the fresh fruit. Proximity to the Capitol and the National Mall was exceptionally convenient. When I return to DC, the Hyatt Regency will be my top choice to return to.

Pros:

Perfect .From the first employee I seen everyone was super helpful and kind .It was very clean .I had a corner suite could see both streets was a nice view.

Cons:

The Restaurant buffet was always cold food that was suposed to be hot .Id suggest ordering off the menu to have fresh and hot .

Great hotel, with just a couple things that could be better.
Pros:

Clean hotel with very friendly staff and management. Not the biggest fan of their menu at the restaurant and/or bar. Showers are a bit cramped as a result of the placement of the soap dispensers.

Pros:

Great location and friendly staff- everyone went above and beyond to help with anything we asked. Rooms were nice and updated. We especially loved the cooler of popsicles in the lobby bc DC was so hot over the 4th of July week that it really helped cool us off when we came back from our walks.
