I will be back
Our second visit to New York as a family, this time taking my wife for her birthday.
A great decision to stay at the Millenium Hilton New York, the pre arrival service and communication with ‘Samantha’ from the Marketing team to the checking in experience with ‘Deepak’. A really wonderful experience with all hotel staff during our stay and couldn’t ask for a better location, 2 min from the United Nations building.
Our room, a 34th floor suite with stunning views overlooking the NY skyline. During our stay NY was hit by Storm Fern with extreme cold temperatures and snow. The hotel staff were fabulous, making sure guests were hydrated and restaurants were open for guests to eat given many cafes and restaurants outside were forced to close.
Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience made even better by the suite we were given.
You’ll be pleased to know we are returning this November for my daughter’s 21st Birthday and have chosen to stay with you an again based on our experience in January 2026.
Look forward to seeing you soon.
Soner he is the best good and nice employe
An iconic hotel, unique view, great experience, very helpful Adina and everyone in the staff.
It is sad to write this dis -recommendation, as I was staying the Millenium one UN Plaza in the past 20 years. But the hotel lost its glory, and even worse. We booked one of those extra deluxe double bed rooms for a long 4 of July weekend. After a 14 hrs flight we arrived to find that the room we got was smelling from cigarates, dirty and with a torn sofa. We downgraded our room to a smaller but at least cleaner and. Ot broken one. But, even worse-upon our arrival, we were taken a deposit of 100 $ per day total of 500$. It was assured us that the deposit will return 5-7 days of our departure. It is now more then 3 weeks of our departure and multiple emails to the manager- but our deposit was not reimbursed. The hotel charged us 500 $ more! They just took the money! If you care about your money and its worth- don't stay at this hotel. Its NYC- there are so many good hotels to choose from. Avoid this one!
DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! Not privately, but certainly not professionally.
The worst is the so called "destination charge": The hotel forces every customer to pay $48,- per day for drinks, food, or other expenses, EVEN IF YOU DID NOT SPEND ANYTHING AT ALL. They claim that this is a "New York-thing", but it is not.
We complained at the front desk, but were treated like the staff did us a favor letting us stay in their hotel. The arrogance is painful.
Furthermore, two of our international delegation members got stuck in the elevator, and were late for a meeting.
The breakfast buffet is very expensive, and there is little choice of food. The staff refused us to order a la carte, because "it was busy", and therefore forced us to pay $60,- p.p. for the breakfast buffet.
Nana and Elizabeth took care of me; they were very kind, and the service is excellent. They were helpful and made my time here enjoyable while I ate the food I had purchased. The food is good, and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable.
Convenient location, spacious and clean rooms. Great breakfast by Albania and Dan. Very courteous staff. Highly recommended.
Location
Facilities
Great Hotel.. like the location. It's in the center but still not noisy . The hospitality is awesome . Special mention to Albana, who really makes sure that everyone is really looked after her warmth and hospitality stands out . Totally recommend.
Excellent breakfast service that I enjoyed for the week thanks to Albana - kind, helpful, very professional⭐️
Proximity to the UN
Just over all bad “value for money” option. Too expensive for its mediocre standards.
- No room service.
- Old facilities
- No basic amenities (such as slippers)
Ms Albana was very sweet, she provides excellent service
Location. Comfortable
