We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff and valet were very welcoming and knowledgable. Within walking a visitor center and restaurants.
Sandy at Sway was very helpful to her my day started before my business convention. Great to start the day with positive vibes
Overall, the hotel was decent. As a business traveler going to a conference, I was very surprised that this conference center connected location did not have a desk with an office style chair in the room.
Restaurant on site is horrible. Make other eating arrangements. If you want cold coffee you’ll get it. The Starbucks wasn’t any better I got a caramel ribbon crunch and could only taste crunched ice
We chat into the Hyatt in Louisville last minute. We had reserved an Airbnb, but it was moldy. So we left the Airbnb and checked in last minute to the Hyatt. It was extremely clean. There was no evidence mold. The staff friendly. I would recommend staying here
Came from Boston and stayed at the Hyatt for basketball tournament. Jerry Mandley (Head of Security) was great from the moment we checked in. He came right over spoke to our daughter about his basketball experience. He also gave us some great restaurant suggestion. We really appreciated it because he went above and beyond his role to make our stay the best.
Hotel staff, especially head of security, Terry Mandley, were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near the convention center for my work conference. Was relatively quiet from 10 pm to 7:30 am. Overall, a nice stay.
Terry, the head of security, went above and beyond to accommodate our visit and get the needed items to make our brief stay better. Thank you, Terry!
Located perfectly
Little pricey but what isn’t
We were double charged for our stay and having to jump through hoops to get reimbursed. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds as we were traveling with 3 people and but they only had a king bed room available for us. Their solution was to give us a roll away bed for a small room.
We found the Hyatt as a last resort and we couldn’t have been more surprised. The staff was courteous, welcoming, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel on you are staying in the area. Great price, nice, clean room, and great location!
I would like to recognize Terry Mandley, Head of Security at the Hyatt Regency Louisville, for the exceptional presence and support he provided throughout my stay.
As someone who previously worked as a leader in the hospitality industry, I have watched the true spirit of hospitality slowly fade over the years. Terry genuinely helped restore my faith in what hospitality can and should look like. He maintained a welcoming, attentive, and professional posture in every interaction.
I deeply appreciated his presence, the camaraderie he created, and the support he offered during my stay. Terry represents the kind of leadership that makes guests feel seen, safe, and genuinely cared for. The Hyatt Regency Louisville is fortunate to have him on its team.
Terry Mandley, Head of Security,
helped us feel welcomed.
He is an asset to the hospitality of that Hotel. 5 stars!
It is the staff at the Hyatt who makes the experience outstanding. We were in town for Run4Roses and the hotel was ready for us including having a special room set up for the girls to use for games, etc. I do think the Starbucks in the lobby was the highlight for most of the girls. lol Even with construction, the location provided easy access to the Expo center. The rooms were spacious and the water pressure made for excellent showers.
Terry, the security officer, made us feel welcome and safe from the moment we arrived. Although we didn’t stay at the hotel, we had a great dining experience. Terry’s professionalism and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression and made our visit even more enjoyable.
The renovations that the hotel has done over the past few years have made this a phenomenal place to stay. Terry Mandely, the head of security, is the most inviting employee! “Uncle Snoop” is exceptionally friendly, willing to help out any visitor with their luggage in the lobby, and has a presence that makes you feel safe and welcomed in the hotel. This is a perfect place to stay when visiting downtown Louisville!
Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and plenty to do!
This is an outstanding hotel. Location is great, hotel is in wonderful condition, sleeping room is large and has every updated amenities that you could ask for. Staff is incredibly friendly, yet professional.
Head of security Terry was amazing and so sweet to us! We had a great time!
