Su ubicación y hagan atención ! Todo muy limpio cama cómodas estancia muy agradable
Todo fue excelente
Family friendly, suites are a great amount space for family. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The price to park.
My kids really enjoyed the water slides and we liked the food.
One of the things we found not helpful since day one was the parking. It was impossible finding parking after 9pm. There is limited parking and we had to used valet in order to be able to park our car. Also, my husband cut the bottom of his foot with a piece of glass that was by the pool. That put a different taste on our vacation due to him not feeling comfortable walking around the pool. He was in uncomfortable during our stay. Overall, I think this place is over priced. We would definitely not go back.
Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina from June 26–30 was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff. Every interaction was pleasant, and any request was handled promptly and graciously.
The room was spotless, fresh-smelling, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which provided clean linens and fresh towels. It's clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
The views were simply spectacular. Looking out over the marina and Mission Bay was a treat at any time of day, from the sparkling morning light to the beautiful evening sunsets. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was waking up to the seals calling for their breakfast. Some might consider it noise, but we found it delightful—a reminder that we were staying in a unique waterfront location with a character all its own.
The highlight of our visit was a surprise birthday celebration arranged by Joe Forbes, Director of Operations. We were delighted to receive a decadent charcuterie board paired with both red and white wine. It was beautifully presented, absolutely delicious, and such a thoughtful gesture that made a special occasion even more memorable.
While this is an older property, it has been thoughtfully updated with modern amenities and comfortable accommodations. We were pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained everything was, and the soundproofing was more than adequate.
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the exceptional staff, immaculate rooms, stunning views, and thoughtful hospitality, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning. We would not hesitate to book the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.
In a really mellow, sort of seculeded area, the hotel checks most of the boxes. Our room was very quiet and well-laid out. While the hotel is really busy, you never really feel overwhelmed. There is a free shuttle to Sea World, Mission Beach and Old Town, which is an extra bonus.
Any hotel should have two things - a quiet room and a comfortable bed. While the room was quiet, the street noise was noticable and one has to wonder if they even bothered to try to soundproof the windows. The other downside is that the bed was like sleeping on a slab, and has to be one the hardest beds we have experienced anywhere. And the shuttle only hold 6 people at a time, which means the wait can be unexpectedly long.
Other than those minor annoyances, the hotel would be a good choice if you want to be by the beach and Sea World.
Great experience as always. Checkin and checkout are always polite and helpful. The beds are the best! Get a bayview room and you can watch the Sea World drone show at 8:45 each evening. I was there for a conference, so I only ate conference food, but my daughter ate at the poolside grill and had a burger and fries and said it was delicious. My only gripes are: there is no microwave (has fridge), the towels could be softer, and they need a better makeup mirror. The negatives are trivial and do not take away from the awesome experience. Look forward to coming back next year!
This is my second year attending a conference at Hyatt Mission Bay. For the second year in a row, I felt very welcomed and valued as a guest. Not only were the conference accommodations set up well but my stay in general was very positive. From the desk to the shuttle staff to the concierges, I knew I was in good hands.
It’s a nice location and staff is awesome.
It was SO EXPENSIVE for a room above the roof air conditioning System. And having to negotiate how to get to coffee was ridiculous.
The location, heated pools, water slide and pool side service.
The bathroom did not have a vent fan so after 6 people taking showers the whole room would get very hot and muggy.
Did not!
Out dated and very expensive for the amount of money.
beautiful location, rooms, and views. Wish I was there for pleasure and not business to really get the full experience.
Great family hotel. Excellent shuttle service to Sea World, SD Old Town, & Mission Bay Beach. You can even roast marshmallows at night!
Stayed here for several days for a conference that was being held at the hotel.
As a conference venue, it worked just fine. The conference rooms were all close to each other, so it was easy to get from one session to the next without having to walk all over the property.
The hotel is definitely family friendly, with several pools and outdoor games around the property. I paid extra for an upgrade to a room in the Tower, and the room was clean, comfortable, and a good size.
The biggest downside for me was the lack of food options nearby. Other than the pool restaurant and a fish-and-chips place about a 3 minute walk away, there really wasn't much within walking distance. Unless you have a rental car (and pay for parking), you're pretty much relying on Uber/Lyft or food delivery apps if you want to eat somewhere else.
For the purpose of attending a conference, the hotel was perfectly fine and convenient. The food provided by the conference was good, and having everything onsite made the event easy to get around.
That said, I probably wouldn't stay here again for a vacation. The location felt a little isolated, and I generally prefer staying somewhere where I can walk to more restaurants and things to do. For a conference, though, it got the job done.
Perfect stay at this wonderful hotel. Had a lovely high floor suite in the tower. Beautiful Marina views and even got the SeaWorld show at night from my balcony. Special shout out to Carlo at the front desk. Super kind and helpful man. Thanks for the great getaway!
Overall super disappointed with this stay. I booked a 1bdrm Marina suite for myself, my husband and our 5yr old daughter and the “suites” building is incredibly run down and outdated. The room smells musty and old and really not up to Hyatt standards. The biggest issue however is the noise level- you can hear literally everything and the street traffic has been keeping us up all night. I thought this room would be much more deluxe but I honestly think we would have been better off in a smaller room in the main building that doesn’t have a motel style entrance. Will not be coming back to this location.
Beautiful views. This is a family friendly hotel/resort. For families with young kids to enjoy the pool, not for a couple only. The condition isn't what it appears in photos. The photos are staged to show a few new pieces of furniture, making it look renovated. Actually most of the buildings and furniture are worn out. At the marina suites, there is a fishy smell outside 24/7, so only book these if you don't wish to use your patio. That smell isn't at the tower or the older buildings or pool near it.
Waterslides were great for the kids. Location reasonable for SeaWorld and mission beach.
Not a lot of food options and what was available was expensive.
The place felt very dated given the price.
No mini bar or fridge in the room that actually worked.
