Clean and nice staff

Had a great stay at the hotel everything was clean and the staff was absolutely amazing with their hospitality. Specifically Estuardo was so helpful upon arrival, recos and how to get to my meetings and where to go after work. Went above and beyond and very sweet
The staff were amazing. So helpful.

Terrific service and responsiveness from entire staff, including Estuardo who assisted with directions and loading. Well done!
Very basic media for a downtown city hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and so is the bedding. The AC worked. The room was dark so you could sleep. Other than that, there’s nothing special about this hotel. The staff was friendly and check-in and checkout was easy. Was there for a conference and the room was bitterly cold. It was 70° outside the hotel and not 90. I don’t understand why you would make something 62° because that’s what it felt like. And I tend to be always hot. I had on a wool sweater for Chicago weather that I normally wear during the winter. The food at the conference hotel was rather good and better than expected. If I was paying for this, I wouldn’t stay there. But my work cover the expenses.
CJ from valet was great. He was a gentleman and very helpful.
CJ was amazing at valet and made our experience stress free!! Thank you so much
Overall, a lovely stay. I was impressed how well the hotel staff handled the high volumes of high school students in town for a very large robotics competition. Despite the high volumes of people coming and going, the hotel staff kept things orderly and calm. Well done!
We found our room quite comfortable--my son found the pullout sofa better than average for comfort. I somewhat liked the stylish bathroom--nice in appearance, but the glass shower wall doesn't allow you to create an enclosed space so splashed water made the floor slick. We didn't have any accidents, but room aesthetics shouldn't create a (minor) safety hazard.
We were sad to learn there are no microwaves in the individual hotel rooms, nor on the individual floors. The only microwave was in the lobby, but it worked well. (Another hotel guest shared that he resorted to using the iron and set of paper plates to cook his frozen burrito, since he was not aware of the microwave in the lobby. Kudos to his ingenuity!) Perhaps one microwave could be installed for each floor?
I had a wonderful time and was impressed by the day to day attention of all tge staff. Great professionals and human beings. I want to highlight particularly the valet guys and Reda who made my day easier everyday.
Thank you areda for the patience, the service and the smile.

Hotel service was excellent and staff very friendly. Overall a very welcoming, friendly and positive experience. Highly recommended.
this hotel was top notch with a great atmosphere. great service, nice and clean and so friendly. Love the fact that they were willing to accommodate a bunch of Highschoolers' in a nice area during a rainy day, all so they can hangout
Open concept, offered great amenities and the convenience store being open 24/7 is a wonderful touch if and when needed

The Hyatt Regency exceeded my expectations in accommodating our robotics team (and many others) for the FIRST Robotics World Championship. The property was clean, updated, and staff was attentive and friendly. Our room was comfortable and spacious. And having the Einstein Bagels on site was so convenient for a quick bite, a coffee, or anything you may have needed, with extended hours. I will also give a shout out to the parents of the kids attending - we have been to hotels for sports before where kids were disruptive and ran wild. With so many business travelers at this hotel, you'd never know just as many kids were staying there too. They were courteous and quiet and I never heard a peep at night. The Hyatt is about a mile from the George R Brown Convention Center, and it was not a bad walk at all. If you want you can take the tunnels, which is cooler and drier depending on weather. Houston is an amazing diverse city, and the Hyatt Regency is situated in the heart of downtown, close to everything!
