The newest, cleanest and in walking distance to a lot of eateries
That it was so uncomfortably cold in the building
Very nice hotel. The bed and room were so comfortable. Only stayed here one night so didn't use hotel amenities or eat at the restaurant, but the hotel was nice. They do not have a parking lot for the hotel. I had to park in the parking garage across the street and it cost me $33, so keep that in mind when thinking about price.
Quiet, very clean, good water pressure. Bed was comfortable; pillows were not. Towels were not great. Overall a very solid choice for a basic business trip.
Perfect location, room was very clean ,staff was excellent
Room was very nice. Food from the restaurant was also good and quick service.
The staff was all very nice and professional. The room was ok, but for a deluxe king room to only have one chair to sit in was a little lacking in my opinion. There was plenty of empty space to put in another chair or a small sofa. It’s not very comfortable to hang out in your hotel room and the only choices you have are to lay on the bed or sit in one arm chair.
Great location for the conference I was attending across the street at First Financial Center. Service was great. A little noisy during the day with the parking garage construction across the side street but that's not the fault of the hotel.
Red Roost, the restaurant attached to the lobby had great food and ice cold beer. Very satisfying. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We've stayed at Hyatt Regency Cincinnati twice and were satisfied both times.
Smallest hotel room i ever stayed in... bathroom door decided if to could sit on the toilet or brush your teeth. Couldn't get the AC below 77-78 degrees for the first 24 hours.... Front desk answer... We're all hot. Maintenance never returned my service call... Also kitchen's food buffet was super underwhelming with bacon cooked just slightly above raw.
Cincinnati OH Hyatt very nice and clean
Location

Great location in downtown Cincinnati near all sporting facilities and fine restaurants. Perfect for a business professional.
Families may want to think twice as the pool is indoors and nothing special.
I reserved a room through Hyatt that was supposed to have two double beds and a pullout sofa when I got there very late at night (aftermidnight) Christy at the front desk, said that they do not even have that type of room at that hotel. In order to get a room with-two double beds and a pullout sofa we would have had to stay at Hyatt Place. I looked at her and said, but yet our reservation was for the Hyatt Regency. She said yes I told her well. I guess I will have to pay for a second room. She agreed, then promised her employee discount. The next morning, when I went to check out, she had not applied her employee discount. The woman at the desk called the manager. She came in and gave us the employee discount.. other than having to buy the second room with the employee discount. Everything was good. One other thing when we arrived, people were smoking in the lobby as they got off the elevator on our floor. I noticed it reeked of smoke as it did the room.
Thank you
This property did not seem up to Hyatt standards. It was a relative bargain on points, but we experienced some issues during our stay.
I’ll start with the pros:
--Check in was pleasant, front desk recognized my Globalist status, and provided a room upgrade to high floor and accommodated request for 2 queens vs the 1 king that was booked using points. That was much appreciated.
--Daily Globalist breakfast at Red Roost Tavern was very good. The food was well seasoned and well prepared, they accommodated special requests with no problem, and service was great.
Unfortunately, the cons outweighed the pros:
--Housekeeping took very long to deliver requested items, with multiple calls/reminders needed
--Room did not appear clean, cheese snack lodged in seat of chair
--Towels were in poor condition— thin, with threads unraveling from the edges. They looked like rags.
--Shower pressure (on 22nd floor) was terrible
--Thermostat was faulty and inconsistent. It was difficult to regulate temperature in the room
--No hair dryer in room, called and waited a long time for delivery. New hair dryer did not work. By the time I realized this, it was very late and I wanted to go to bed. Called front desk to report the issues. Was told a manager would reach out next morning. Manager never reached out. There were other issues, basically service was not up to par.
I am not sure whether this was a one-off experience or the norm for this property. This stay, while not glaringly bad, was disappointing on many levels.
Great location, room was comfortable and amenities were great. The people were great, except the bartender.
We traveled from a nearby city and found the location to be outstanding. We arrived and were greeted by the valet promptly. The staff at the front desk were all very knowledgeable and had us up to our clean room in minutes. The hotel was very clean. The gym had a lot of equipment and accommodated many of us workout freaks. The local is exceptional. We were able to walk to bars, restaurants, stadiums, venues, fountain square, streetcar, and Kentucky in minutes. There was a massive youth sporting event going on during our stay, however, the hotel managed the influx with professionalism. No loud noise in the hallways and the housekeeping remained intact. The breakfast and grab-n-go areas could use a couple of more experienced staff, but I have no major complaints. Nobody is perfect. Can't go wrong with the hotel. We highly recommend.
Nice room - great view!!
We had an event at the convention center, and it was across the street, so it was very convenient.
I will say the valet and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. But the desk staff were not helpful, did not give me any information about the hotel and seemed annoyed when I asked simple questions. For $450 a night my room was tiny, paint was peeling from the ceiling of the bathroom. The shower head was detached from the wall. Stains on the bedding. Stains on the shower curtain.
The queen bed is more like a full, and the mattress definitely had a low spot right in the middle, which made it difficult for two people to sleep on.
