Excellent location with friendly staff
Pros:

Excellent location, walkable to Canada Place, gastown and other attractions. Free buses stop is in front of the hotel to go to Capilano bridge and Grouse mountain. Friendly staff.

Excelente atención y ubicación.
Pros:

Atención muy buena del personal, excelente ubicación y cerca del estadio caminando. Muy amable quien nos atendió de la India en el desayuno todos los días. Además de que tuvimos la suerte que se alojarán varias selecciones como Suiza y Bélgica.

Cons:

Solo que el Starbucks cerraba muy temprano, 19:00 hrs y uno recién viene llegando 19:30 o 20:00 hrs y no alcanzábamos a pasar por un café. El resto todo impecable.

Hyatt Regency Vancouver Review
Pros:

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver at the end of May 2026. It was a quick 2 night stay prior to embarking on an Alaskan cruise. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and a quick walk to the seaport. The main restaurant was actually closed for renovations which was unexpected, but we made it work with the other on site restaurant and the numerous other restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The room is what you would expect - comfortable and sufficient. I would say it was a bit overpriced given what you get, but the entire city is expensive.

The restaurant - the Grain Lounge - had good food and drinks. Again, a bit on the expensive side. The breakfast buffet about $40 per person. Come on folks, it is breakfast.

Overall, good hotel.

A STAY WITH SEVERAL NOTABLE ISSUES
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel recently and would like to share several specific details from my visit.

During breakfast in the lounge, I noticed a bowl that had not been fully cleaned. The food options available were very limited, and the overall setup appeared unusually simple for a lounge.

In the room originally assigned to me, the door lock did not operate from the inside in the way I expected. I discovered this after unpacking, which made the situation more noticeable.

These were the main details from my stay. Guests who plan to use the lounge or who prefer certain room features may find this information useful when reviewing the property.

Fantastic Hotel!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel ideally located near shops, restaurants, the port, and events in the public square. The service at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver is fantastic, and the rooms are gorgeous. We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and it's been wonderful each time.
