Disappointed
Pros:

I was very very disappointed with the hotel.
Limited on dining though they say 3 dining areas.
No real dining for breakfast. And no real dining at night except one called the Compass which has limited hours and a nasty complicated way to make a reservation.
As a guest I would expect one could just contact the front desk and simply make a reservation under one’s room.

Great Hotel with many amenities
Pros:

The hotel was overall so much better than I thought it was going to be. The entrance to the hotel was beautiful, staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was great. The hotel was very clean and had everything you need when traveling. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful time. Great environment and cozy stay!
Pros:

My family stays here often, a few times a year. It’s our favorite place to stay when we travel to town to watch the diamondbacks play! We love the pool, the restaurant downstairs for dinner, the omelette bar for breakfast, and the cozy clean rooms. It’s a wonderful hotel!!

Pros:

This hotel is what it is. It scores for convenience to Phoenix Convention Center and not at all on any other aspects of a stay experience. Dated property with no character. F&B quality average at best. Rooms decent size, but walls paper thin. Bedding and towels were fresh and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did not refresh coffee pods or coffee cups during stay until requested ('thou clearly needed).

Can't beat the location if attending a convention at the convention center
Pros:

I attended a convention in April. The Hyatt Regency is a 2 minute walk to the convention center, which is across the street. The hotel and staff were excellent. The location in downtown Phoenix is very convenient and within walking distance to major even locations like Phoenix Suns arena. Lots of restaurants nearby within walking distance. If I come to Phoenix again for business I will be staying here again.

Aging hotel
Pros:

The hotel is showing its age. B & B market was excellent for breakfast. Hotels are very very expensive in Phoenix. I would have expected a bit more “luxury” for the price. Rooms are basic. Nothing upscale. Clean.

Very nice room and front staff in a great location, but be prepared to spend and eat early.
Pros:

Great downtown location. Across the street from Symphony Hall, where show we went to was. Helpful and courteous front staff. Well kept room with a lot of space. Big flat screen TV.

Cons:

Restaurants close at 10:00, Had to take prepackaged food from snack bar back to room after show ended at 10:30. One of two parking garages listed was not available.Nearby eateries loud and crowded, catered to young. Steep price for said advantages.

Great Hotel!
Pros:

Great location in downtown Phoenix! Walking distance from DBacks and Suns arenas. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Nice, clean room. Friendly hotel staff. Will definitely come back again!

Pros:

Great easy location for anything downtown. Do not accept a room street facing if you want a Quiet room. Nightly noise after bars close, when events end, etc. also the church across the street rings hourly from 7 am
Make sure to ask for a daily tram pass if they don't offer you one. Also ask for water at front desk on departure.

Home away from home.
Pros:

We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency during our Juice Plus conference. The entire staff was amazing. Our room was clean and very roomy. The food was good, especially the omelette station. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay enjoyable and comfortable.
