Another Great Stay with Outstanding Front Desk Service
Pros:

Our family returned to the Hyatt Centric Arlington for a one-night stay this past weekend, and it reminded us why we like this property. The customer service here continues to be excellent.

Checking In
We were checked in by Mahmut, who we actually remembered from a prior stay when he assisted us with a suite upgrade via text. This time, we needed a standard 2 Queen Bed room for the four of us. Mahmut was incredibly welcoming and efficient. He even stepped in to take our keys and coordinate the valet when the attendant was away from the podium. He also made sure extra water and towels were promptly delivered to our room, which we really appreciated.

Room Accommodations
The double queen room was very clean and provided a comfortable night's sleep. While the footprint is a bit compact, it is very typical for the market and perfectly fine for a short stay.

Breakfast Update
Breakfast was covered under our Globalist status. The meal was good, but we did note that the live omelet/egg station from our previous visit wasn't running. It’s possible this was just due to the holiday weekend schedule, but worth noting if you've stayed here before.

Staff Recognition
The highlights of our stay were definitely the interactions with the staff. During check-out, Cindy was wonderful and efficiently took care of our breakfast credits. We also enjoyed a great chat with Irma. Between Mahmut, Cindy, and Irma, the front desk team provides fantastic hospitality. We will definitely be back.

A great choice when for visiting Washington
Pros:

Location, Pleasant room. Welcoming staff. Restaurant whilst the menu was limited choice was good. The seafood salad, particularly as we are talking hotel restaurants, was excellent as was the lamb with Greek salad.
The lady in charge, (sorry I forgot her name) was friendly and efficient. The egg station at breakfast was good

Cons:

My one criticism is that the breakfast food was not kept at the correct temperature. In fact the bacon, sausage scrambled eggs etc were in the zone where if kept that way for too long, ( more than a couple of hours) they become a health hazard). A few continental options.. ham cheese tomatoes etc would also provide a bit more variety when staying for a few days especially if you don't like sweet foods for breakfast..
