Location
Told front desk air conditioner wasn’t working she said it was hot outside. We went to eat lunch it was few degrees hotter. I found another staff member and she immediately moved us to another room.
Great location for concert attendees.
Booked a King bed with an accessible shower for my wife who had a recent knee injury months in advance and was given two double beds with no accessible shower.
Overall, a nice stay. Great location! Friendly staff! Spacious room. However, the bathroom was extremely small! And the entryway into the room was very narrow! Hard to navigate getting in with luggage! It was a frustrating experience that will more than likely keep us from ever staying here again. Really enjoyed Greenville, SC!
Generally very good staff. Excellent valet and bell service. Excellent service at the Roost bar. Guest rooms due for an update but bathrooms good. Love the atrium design and lighting, and Roost decor. Roost opens onto Main Street. Valet parking is $15/day, I didn’t see that on the website.
From the time we showed up until the time we left, EVERYONE was absolutely AMAZING!!! I could state it enough, EVERYONE was FANTASTIC!!!!
Absolutely Nothing!!!!
I liked the location, the valet option, since we were coming and going a lot. And the space is open and feels good. Let us check in a bit early which was a big help. I know that is not always possible.
Shout out to Perun from valet parking. Was super helpful and friendly and made parking very easy. Thanks for your help.
Very central on Main Street, with restaurants shops and bars near by also lots of local events right outside the doors, staff very friendly and efficient

I love the location as it was central to downtown and very walkable everywhere for dinner and entertainment. I would go to another conference here as it was very nice and easy to get where you needed to go.
Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Greenville on a high-demand weekend in May (weddings, graduations), so prices everywhere were jacked up. Overall a good stay. Itemization on my bill beyond the normal state sales tax: an $8.51 “Destination Fee” and a “Greenville Occupancy Tax" of $7.73. I don’t know if the latter is only for downtown hotels or encompasses the entire Greenville area. One surprise was calling the hotel directly the day prior. I explained to the rep that our flight was arriving early the next morning and asked if the hotel was completely full today. She said no, the hotel was not full, so I then asked if we could be assigned to one of those rooms currently not occupied, so that my husband and I could occupy our room upon arrival. She said she was new and needed to confirm with someone. Waited a few minutes and was then told there would be a $36 early check-in fee to check-in between 10:30-11:00 am (my estimate of arrival at the hotel.) I was frankly shocked but politely said most hotels allow you to enter early your room is ready, and thanked her for the information. She said that the hotel would be happy to hold our luggage and we could attend the local farmers market nearby that day to have something to do if we liked. Upon arrival at the hotel, we had prepaid at time of reservation, and were let into our room without any mention of an extra early check-in fee, thankfully. I sorted on all the other TripAdvisor reviews here and did not see any prior Guest mention this potential new fee. Regarding the room itself: We were fortunate to stay on the 8th floor, which is the highest floor, with a view of the Atrium which was fine. Our room was quiet, clean, and updated. After reading some of the other reviews, perhaps some of the floors are not updated, but our room was. The only quirky thing was the TV mounted on a side wall (instead of directly opposite the bed), but it had a swivel mechanism. I would say it’s not a big deal, just a personal preference to arrange the room differently. We had a great lunch outdoors at the hotel’s Roost restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance with the small fountains was very nice. We did not have time for breakfast the next day so cannot rate that meal. We did not have a rental car, so cannot comment on the parking situation. The Roost is next door to the hotel. Inside the main lobby on the second floor there is a coffee shop with a variety of beverages, breakfast items, and to-go assortment, and some casual seating.
Arrived early and stayed an extra day beyond our conference to enjoy the Hyatt and Greenville. It was a really good stay, but the prior guest in our reserved room must have been a VERY heavy smoker. We had to be relocated to another smaller room, which was not smokey. Except for unexpected downgrade in room, a very nice stay with a very helpful staff.
The facilities are excellent and the staff were so helpful
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent
The overall cleanliness of the room was good (not excellent). We just had some bad experiences not really related to the room itself. The hotel location is excellent if you want to experience downtown.
We returned to an outing to a lobby covered in human feces and the feces extended on down the stairs to the bar area. It was not even marked as a danger or "caution" and was not cleaned or marked for a good 20 minutes after we returned. My room overlooked the lobby, and we watched to see when it was cleaned. However, we do know that the front desk was aware of the situation as soon as we returned because we stopped to inform them of the situation and they "pointedly" made it clear they were aware! From my room we watched, and it was not marked or cleaned for approximately 20 minutes after our return. Also, I requested ADJACENT rooms. I paid over $700 for two rooms to be close to family. Instead, they were put across the hall two doors down. The adjacent room to mine was a couple who SCREAMED and Yelled at each other until 3 am. I was just about to call the front desk, but they quieted down until 7 am and then it started again! My granddaughter that stayed with me is only 8 years old and did not need to hear all that went on between the couple! It was totally unacceptable.
So clean, beautiful, had live music, location was wonderful.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
