Old-fashioned but great hotel in the city centre
Pros:

The hotel's glory days are behind it, but it still retains its charm. It's comfortable, clean, and spacious. Breakfassst is amazing. The staff is polite and helpful. Located in the heart of the city, the Gambir train station is a 15-minute walk away.

Cons:

The rooms could use some modernisation.

Locatie, lag aan een drukke doorgaande weg. We zaten op de 9e verdieping aan de straatkant en hebben de hele avond niet kunnen slapen van het gemotoriseerde verkeer en 2 moskees die op luide wijze hun ochtend gebed om 04.00 de lucht in zongen.. Wij waren de enige blanke gasten in het hotel het was een moslem hotel waar alle vrouwen gesluierd en met hoofddoekjes rondliep. Ook het zwembad gingen ze er gekleed in. We hadden 3 dagen geboekt maar hebben de volgende dag uitgecheckt zonder restitutie.

Prima hotel dichtbij station Gambir
Pros:

Het hotel is dicht bij station Gambir, wat voor ons belangrijk was. Het ontbijtbuffet was fantastisch uitgebreid en mooi geserveerd. Het is een groot hotel, niet bijzonder sfeervol, maar dat wisten we vooraf.

Er werd heel veel gerookt in de lobby en de bar, overal volle asbakken

An excellent location with great breakfast.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable, not too hard or too soft. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with an excellent number of options. The location was very good.

Cons:

The advertised transfer from the airport needed to be arranged by phone, which is hard to do if you do not have a local sim.

Pros:

Breakfast was very good and versatile! The furniture in the room is a little bit old, but the bed was comfortable!

Výborné místo k pracovnímu pobytu i odpočinku v Jakartě
Pros:

Nabídka jídel u snídaně byla naprosto fantastická a rozmanitá. Nají se tu i vegan nebo vegetarián. Nicméně nejúžasnější byl zdejší bazén nabízející nejen výbornou možnost zaplavat si a osvěžit se v čisté a dostatečně studené vodě, ale také s různými zákoutími, kde si lze třeba číst knihu anebo si dát drink s přáteli. Personál je velice příjemný. I když je hotel už starší, není zanedbaný jako některé jiné hotely v Indonésii. Jeho vybavení má svůj dobový styl, je udržované a architektonicky velice povedené.

Cons:

Snad jediným problém je umístění hotelu na rušné ulici, kterou není úplně snadné přejit a v okolí není příliš možností nakoupit třeba ovoce anebo zajít na kávu. Nicméně kávu si můžete dát v hotelu :-).
