Great location/views and friendly staff, overall the stay was great and we would stay here again.
Pros:

Perfect location with great views and surrounding bars/restaurants. Along with Shem Creek Park to explore. The pool was great and the hotel was easy to navigate. All interactions with staff were great.

Cons:

The cleaning could’ve been better. The floors were very dirty and look liked they were not mopped. The balcony needs to be cleaned as well, there was blood from another guest on the railing. Complimentary water would be the one added perk needed.

Always love staying there. Perfect location

Cons:

That i had to call the desk to learn how to work the air (directions in the room or even being told it takes 2 minutes to come on when you check in) and had to reset the tv.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Fantastic location and very close to the restaurants and bars. Beautiful view from the balcony and we enjoyed our morning coffee whilst watching the dolphins swimming in the creek. The staff were great - Doug was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend this place.

Pros:

Shem Creek Inn was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Charleston area. I love how it was conveniently located between downtown Charleston and the Sullivans Island beaches. The boardwalk through the marshes was beautiful and allowed for sunrise and sunset walks without getting in the car. The pool deck was so relaxing and I saw dolphins in the waterway. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. I would definitely stay again.

Great location in an old but clean Inn. don't expect luxury, long boardwalks, boats to see views.
Pros:

The second floor with balcony over looking the creek was great. Lots of activity, boats, kayakers, even dolphins go by. Restaurants and bars next door.

Cons:

"breakfast" is pretty sad. Plastic wrapped gas station quality snacks and keurig coffee was about it.

I love that the location was just a short drive into Charleston . It had a great vibe from the surrounding restaurants and bars surrounding the creek.
