Great location
La stanza molto bella, la colazione abbondante.
La bottiglia di acqua in camera a 12$, con quello che paghi un omaggio (o niente) sarebbe stato gradito.
Altra cosa a colazione una fila molto lunga gestita non benissimo.
Location was prime, perfect stroll to Seaport Village, Harbor cruises and Ferry to Coronado Island. No driving needed. Great location to many restaurants within walking distance.
The high $70 a day valet parking prices. No options for self parking. Other hotels charge $25-$30 a day for parking.
Muy buena ubicación y moderno.
El servicio de desayuno que ofrecen en el restaurante del hotel es muy caro. No lo recomiendo. Hay lugares cercanos para desayunar con mejores precios.
Central to Seaport and its attractions. The hotel’s breakfast was good and included in price. Staff were very helpful.
The air conditioning was a little temperamental but nothing too bad.
Ótimo café da manhã
We stayed here because we wanted an affordable and somewhere in close proximity to petco park. It was a 15min ish walk to petco park. Pads won! That’s always nice! Also right across the street from one of my favorite places, Sea Port village! Nice, clean and spacious rooms for my family or 5. Friendly staff shout out to Grace who was so friendly and welcoming at breakfast time. And as a family of five we love our complimentary made to order breakfast! We had a lovely little staycation and would definitely stay here again.
After a long day of travel, we checked into the hotel tired and ready for bed. While checking in, the front desk was super helpful and took time to give recommendations. Next morning, at breakfast the line was long but the food was hot while GRACE did an amazing job serving everyone. If you see Grace, I would go through her line, she’ll brighten your day!
The place was very good and the people working there were friendly. Grace was very nice and she served tasty food.
Got 1 more pancake even when I asked only for 2. Good job 👍
Donna in food service was wonderful
We stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown for three nights and had a very pleasant overall experience.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It’s within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront, so you can easily explore downtown without needing to drive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was perfect for traveling with a child. Having a separate bedroom made our stay much more comfortable. The beds were also comfortable (except the sofa bed!)
The complimentary breakfast was good, and the staff did a nice job overall. They were flexible and accommodating, which we appreciated.
My only real criticism is the lack of variety at breakfast. We stayed for three nights, and about 95% of the breakfast selection was exactly the same every morning. The only noticeable changes were small items like replacing muffins with donuts. The fruit selection was especially disappointing—it was basically just melon every day, with no berries or other fresh fruit options. If you’re staying more than a couple of days, the breakfast can become repetitive, especially if you’re traveling with children.
The hotel only offers valet parking, which costs about $70 per night. While that’s expensive, the excellent location means you probably won’t need your car very often. In our case, we didn’t use our vehicle at all during our three-night stay, so paying for valet wasn’t really worth it. If you plan to leave your car parked most of the time, I’d recommend looking into nearby public parking garages instead. There are several within walking distance that can save you a significant amount of money.
Overall, this is a great hotel with an excellent location, spacious suites, and friendly staff. The only area that could really use improvement is adding more variety to the breakfast, especially the fruit selection. I’d definitely consider staying here again because the location and accommodations outweigh that one drawback.
Donna was absolutely wonderful!!!! So incredibly helpful.
Great place to stay in in San Diego. We were here for work but still a great experience. Friendly staff and the breakfast was great. William, Felipe, Mario and Khajuan were great on the grill for breakfast. Thank you!!!
The hotel was a clean, comfortable, standard Embassy Suites right on the edge of downtown, with an easy walk to the Gaslamp District and Petco Park.
The hotel had a very nice breakfast buffet for no extra cost, which included made-to-order omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc. The food was good but the breakfast area was crowded.
Most disgusting hotel room I’ve had in years. Pee all over the toilet, hair in BOTH sinks and all over counters, dirty shower….clearly not cleaned before our check in. Stay somewhere else. For what we paid for this room, extremely disappointed and disgusted with our stay.
