Nearly went blind from filthy spa!!!
Went to hospital as I got severe eye infection from their spa area that was not hygienic. They have people sitting naked instead of sitting on towels & they never come in to clean or check anything. I spent hours in there and staff never came in to wipe anything down.
Their staff were extremely rude and unkind. Got very defensive. I was stuck for days just could not go out due to unable to wear contact lens and I’m legally blind without them. I had to beg for 1 free breakfast as some sort of compensation. This hospital was out of my pocket they lied about cleaning the place and it smells. Not sure how you feel about people’s bare ass & balls sitting on spa seating where you might place your hand but beware!!! Costly hospital visit!!!!

Der Umgang mit den Gästen war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war super, sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, ruhig und direkt an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden.
The room we stayed in was renovated, spacious and welcoming. We stayed in a King Premium and there was plenty of space for 2 adults and a toddler.
The hotel was very clean.
Staff were friendly and generally helpful.
The Marlene bar was a lovely addition to the hotel.
The option of the spa / swimming pool was also welcome.
Location was good, particularly if travelling with children.
We would stay again but would not take a room on the East wing until this is renovated to the same standard as the West wing.
We had an issue with the light in our bathroom not turning off. This was a problem as there was a glazed window between the room and the bathroom which allowed light to flood the bedroom during the night. This was raised with the hotel, but it took a long time and lots of back and forth to find a resolution. We were offered an alternative room, however these rooms were on the East wing and not renovated and certainly not to the same standard of the room we had.
The staff were polite and helpful in attempting to find a resolution. It was just frustrating how long it took and that the alternative rooms offered were not to the same standard. Further when asked for compensation in terms of room service as we’d been unable to go out to eat, this was initially refused and spa access offered instead. When a manager was spoken to this was satisfactorily resolved.
The swimming pool is a cost as is well documented within reviews. However, the pool was exceptionally cold which meant everyone was crowding the jacuzzi when we visited.

Breakfast was really good a real international breakfast, the pool was really nice and clean.
The room was really clean and maintenance was good too
The room that I booked was with a king bed on purpose cause I have kids, one of them being a 4month old.
They gave us a room with 2 twin beds put together and when I explained them that I wanted the king bed cause the crack between the twin beds is dangerous for 4 months old babies they could not understand my request and gave me a lot of excuses and honestly I don’t go on vacation to argue with people so at the end I just said it was good like that.
Which led to me not being able to sleep properly cause was worried for my baby the whole time that the baby didn’t want to stay in the crib.
Also I requested a crib in the room and was not there at check in, the room that booking show is not what they gave us was actually smaller I pointed that out too but I guess communication was bad on some end cause they could not understand what I was talking about

The hotel is very nice, the beds are super comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the location as it was near the beautiful garden but it is a bit far from the Mitte for those who prefer to be in the center of the touristic area. Transportation is very easy from the hotel, so was no issue getting anywhere
