location is not the best, but it is walkable to the French quarter. I would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Walking distance from many of the sites. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel bar/ restaurant was convenient with good food and service.

Nice place but trendy. One must use host to be able to be seated at peets for breakfast thus meant it’s not self serve breakfast bar. So tip for host is mandatory. $31 for breakfast plus tip and taxes over $41!

Hotel Intercontinental is walkable to meet up for booked tours . The room is spacious, the bed linens of top quality, and the breakfast buffet has a great spread. Staff are all courteous and attentive. George helped us book two tours and learned a lot about the city. Upgraded to a top floor room 1413 which does not get the afternoon sun.

Stayed at the Intercontinental for a conference recently, which was also where the event was held. Super convenient. Trolley stop right out front on St. Charles, some decent restaurants nearby (esp in a short Uber). Rooms were pretty good. Had a balcony and end room, but it was entirely shaded by the I think a parking garage or huge office building next door (see pic of balcony view). Still nice to have a balcony, but if you sat too far up, like 15 rooms could also see you, so it wasn’t exactly relaxing (best to stay back). There was also a constant fan going off the entire time, but we weren’t (my mom came with) in the room much or enough for us to call and ask about it. Kuerig coffee maker was nice, and there was a little desk and 2 large side tables in I think a standard king room. Checked out the gym one morning for 20-30 mins, and it was nice! Free fruit and you could fill up a water bottle.

It was great having two restaurants on site- Pete’s which was a nice piano bar that also served breakfast and Trenasse, which was surprisingly bustling for a Thursday at 9pm, and had decent baked oysters and old-fashioneds. Also when checking in, bc I’m an IHG member (free to sign up online b4 booking), we got 2 free drink tickets for Pete’s, which were valued at up to $15 each. Good people watching. Overall, probs wouldn’t stay here for a fun Nola trip, neighborhood was a little too corporate, but not at all bad for a conference!

From the time we arrived and checked in, the service was exceptional! We selected to stay at the Intercontinental to celebrate my husband's birthday weekend in New Orleans, and let me tell you, the atmosphere, location, and services did not disappoint! Ms. Lauren at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping to make our celebration EXTRA special! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again on our next visit to New Orleans.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. It is dated and could use some TLC. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Hotel. The staff were professional, courteous and respectful. The hotel was clean, and housekeeping cleaned my room every day, which was a nice surprise. It was approximately two blocks from the French Quarters and walkable. I would like to give a special shout out to Laura at the Reception Desk. Laura accommodated me in every way, and made my stay memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the New Orleans located, perfect walking distance from everything. Access to transit was perfect also. Atmosphere was nice but busy memorial weekend.
Our room was clean and spacious, bathroom was modern also clean.
Value was good for a long weekend visit.
The A/C was very loud but I managed to sleep. The furniture in the lobby was alittle worn.
Breakfast offered great selection the staff were polite and helpful.
Overall, I would visit again.

I had a great experience at the InterContinental New Orleans! The location was unmatched. Didn’t use an uber the entire time here. Walking distance to the French quarter, Bourbon Street, Canal and all other notable spots was easy.

The customer service was amazing. They offered me recommendations for food (tried frog legs for the first time and it was amazing!), gave me great directions, and the drinks at Tess were great!

If I were to come again, I would only stay at the intercontinental. It gave me everything I needed.

Great location in New Orleans. Very nice hotel and the concierge was extremely helpful in assisting us with getting around to the places we wanted to see. The front desk staff was also very pleasant and accommodating. The noise level was a bit high with the street car going back-and-forth in front of the hotel, and we were on the 12th floor. I originally booked directly through the hotel with a fee of just under $400 for the one night, two queen beds. I ended up canceling that reservation because I was able to secure the same room through trivago for$136 for the one night. I would stay at an Intercontinental again, but would definitely booked through a booking site instead of directly through the hotel site.

It’s just a different experience at a 4-5 star hotel than your normal destination. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special. To say that the staff went above and beyond would be an understatement, and the hotel manager being so accessible, working from a laptop all around the lobby was a great touch. It was clear that he was and wanted to be in tune with the guest’s experiences.
