Ok stay
Pros:

The hotel is nice & has good food options on site, not far to walk from French quarter but also has a streetcar line not far from the hotel.

Cons:

Large room although had a really bad smell of chlorine which gave me a headache quickly. I asked to swap rooms but like for like wasn’t available and ‘all rooms are cleaned with chlorine’. I decided to change rooms anyway to a different style as the smell was so bad and the other room didn’t smell of chlorine. The other room was a bit musky but better than chlorine. Perhaps a note to housekeeping to reduce the volume of the chemical as it is a health hazard to breathe it in. One of the lifts wasn’t in very good service and took ages to move down floors, a lot of people complained during my stay.

The evening I arrived, the girl working on reception around 8pm wasn’t very professional. She climbed and walked over the reception desk. And wasn’t the most helpful when it came to switching rooms, I was kind of left to do that myself.

Wait time for food at the hotels restaurant is long.

Great location and clean comfortable rooms
Pros:

The staff was extremely nice. We had our grandkids and the porter greeted them and us every time he saw us.
We left an item in the room and returned 2 hours later and they were very helpful.

Cons:

All was good. Nothing to complain about.

Pros:

That it was close to the convention center, which is why I rented the hotel. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly.

Cons:

They had a lot of stains on the carpet in my room and it was kind of sticky. When I laid close to the edge of the bed, it felt like I was gonna fall off. I think that mattress needs to be changed.

Nice hotel near the Mississippi
Pros:

We were there during the New Orleans Jazz festival so it was pretty busy. We had a room next to the elevator but the people at reception were nice enough to change us to a quieter room, which was highly appreciated. The hotel is situated in a nice location and an easy and pleasant walk to the city centre.

Cons:

The walls are really thin so if you have noisy neighbours, you'll be able to hear them talk at night.
